Stars in the night sky
You & I
We are stars in the night sky
Gazing at people
As they walk by under the moonlight
While once in a while
A few looks up
& we shoot a smile as in twinkles,
Some even stop & stare in awe
Other, just take a glance and moves on
A few tries to make sense of this utter mess
of stars, one over another
and name them constellations
Other lives their whole life not sparing
A single moment
To stop and cogitate of our beauty.
We all wonder what it is like to be one of them
What it is like to see us from afar
Are we as beautiful as some say
Or just a kalopsia of ones thought?
But then
when one of us falls & die
They wish of their advancements on the death of something else
That just makes us put aside
The thought of getting to know them,
When the thing as beautiful as us
That they love so dearly
Dies . . .
Instead of mourn
They pray for more
If that don't say something about
Their selfish & greedy existence
I may never know what will.
