Clean
You were a drug & i was a straight edge
It all was easy when i have not met you,
I knew your kind all too well to fall for your trap
& i thought that was gonna be that way only,
But not for too long... You made your way in somehow
Even though i knew you were bad, i let you.
Felt like my brain stopped or my mind gave up,
Before i knew i was deep In.
Not gonna lie, it did fell good for a while
Until my senses resurface & made me realize
What a mistake i made & how wrong i still am going
I tried & tried to give you up
But you always make your way back in my system.
The battle i was fighting was a waste of time,
' cause you were the one that gets me high everytime before i leave for the war.
It took me sometime but i finally figured it out
How i am gonna set myself free back again.
You were the one who made me miserable so its time to make it right,
Gotta cut all your strings off me,
Doesn't matter if i bleed
And so i did, it did hurt but for good.
I remember when once again you try to resurface
It took a lot of my will to shut the door at your face
Or maybe you shut it at Mine.
Well, it doesn't matter anymore ...
For that I'm finally clean.
Even when I'm free, it don't mean
I don't miss your sweet taste my dear.
