The Protectors [BTS FF]

Chapter 35: Ending pt. 2

SooMi POV

Me and BTS got to our fighting stances, ready to fight.

The first devil who reached us attacked Jimin who used his sword to block out the attacks the devil was giving him. The devil was fast enough to wound him on the shoulder but got killed by Jimin who stabbed him in his stomach

A demon came rushing towards me holding an axe, I dodged the attacks and used my sword to wound it on it's legs but unfortunetly the axe cut throuh my hair, making my hair half short and half long

I jumped up to a nearby tree which wasn't that tall and jumped back down to a more spacious area and fought the devils. I did a spin and killed 4 devils in a row while I kicked the other demon which nearly wounded me on my back

Not long after, I came face to face with the 'leader'.

"Greetings, 8th protector" He smiled wryly at me, his long tail swinging back and forth while his jet black horns stood out the most despite it being night

"I see you've defeated my father, Lucifer" The demon chuckled coldly before looking at me with a cold glance

"But not me" He smiled wryly again while I just glared at him

"Let's play it fair, how about a hand on hand fight, no swords, scythes, axes... just hands and legs" He suggested in a creepy way. I glared at him harder which he took in as a yes. He was the first one to throw his scythe far away from him while I just gave my sword to Namjoon.

"Everyone! Stop what you are doing, and watch me defeat, this...thing" He looked at me up and down in a judging look. All the demons/devils stopped what they were doing and turned to look at both of us, they moved away from us, creating a little battlefield for the both of us

I took my first move while he was off guard and tried kicking him in his face but he held unto my leg and twisted it, making me fall down.

I stood back up and tried punching him but he was faster and punched me on my face. I kicked him in his chest and punched his stomach and he coughed up blood

He wiped off the blood in his lips and glared at me. He started going fast and kept on delivering kicks and punches towards my direction but I dodged it and did the same to him

Both of us was already bruised everywhere... I felt like fainting... my eyesight became blurred as I looked at him holding something..

He stabbed me on my stomach

"SooMi!" I heard the rest of the boys shout. I looked towards their direction and saw them running towards me. Taehyung punched Satan (I just realized I didn't even mention the name of Lucifer's son)

I was barely standing up but I still managed to. Just for the people.. you can do this SooMi

I took the sword from Satan's grip and slashed him in his stomach. I smiled victoriously and held up the sword. Not noticing that I didn't kill him completely..

The demons/devils grew furious of seeing their two leaders being killed and lashed out their anger on us.

I didn't notice one of the devils behind my back and stabbed me near my waist. I turned around and slashed it in it's stomach and took the sword from it's grip, making me have two swords on each hand.

I ran around the demons/devils in a very fast pace, using my magic to be able to slash them each time I go near them. But when I felt myself getting weaker, I got to my knees and glared at my wounds, I almost forgot about me being wounded

I glanced over to BTS and saw.... Satan standing up?! Impossible, I thought I killed him!

Despite my condition, I still managed to jump up to the roof of the castle and look down at the devils/demons below me.

BTS looked at me with questioning gazes but I just ignored them and focused on the rest of the enemies.

I lifted up my palm and pointed it towards the direction where the enemies were.

I focused all my power towards my palm and released all of it towards the enemies. BTS widened their eyes, they knew the possibilities if I were to use up all my power... they knew I could and will die.

Just as I thought I could faint any moment, I felt a rush of power in my hands

I opened my half closed eyes and looked at where it could have probably come from. There I saw all of them, looking at me intently. I saw different color lights glowing from their palms, all of them directing at the power I was releasing. I smiled faintly as I lowered the amount of magic I was releasing. 

They really do help me a lot... even when i'm in my toughest times, their always there to help me up... I just can't imagine one day breaking their hearts just because of my one decision.

I felt multiple screams ringing through my eardrums, bright light exploded from each and every enemy. Just then, I felt my body weakening. And finally, I fainted.

  I felt the cold wind brushing against my skin as I fell down from the top

"SooMi!" I heard multiple voices calling out for me, one of them being a girl's voice. I shut my eyes tightly, waiting for the hard impact of the ground but instead, was met with a pair of strong arms and with a gaze ever so softly

He caressed my cheek and said 

"Don't worry SooMi... i'm here for you... you're safe, as long as i'm here..."
