Who says in order to be diagnosed, it has to involve a needle injecting into my skin?
Not all medicine can heal someone's illness
Sometimes, I may want forgiveness
Sometimes, I may be all quiet and be stillness
Sometimes, I may just build up my sadness

I get sad for no reason
Get overwhelmed and bundle it inside of me
I act like I don't belong here
And wonder when can I disappear?

My medicine doesn't involve popping pills
My medicine doesn't involve talking another human.
My medicine involves my own self
Making sure I take care of my health
Dealing with depression
I hold in my feelings
I can't express them
It's another silent soul, holding my self control
Because she feels left out in this world
