"You know, Laura, your gray eyes are beautiful," Axl said as we walked down a scenic trail of Griffith Park.

"You know why they're so beautiful?" He asked me.

"Why?" I asked, raising an eyebrow and trying not to blush.

"Because they remind me of the ocean. The morning ocean that we swam in together," He said, running a finger across my cheek.

"Stop," I said, letting myself blush. Axl just smiled.

"Let's keep walking," He said, taking my hand. We swung our hands back and forth as we walked down the long, scenic pathway.

"Look!" Axl exclaimed, pointing at some bushes.

"What?" I asked him.

"It's a rabbit," He said, crouching down. I followed him and we crawled near the bush.

"I don't see anything," I whispered to him, examining the bush. There was some rustling in the bush and Axl shushed me.

He then stuck his hand in the bush. "I feel it!" He said and the rabbit ran out of the side of the bush and back into the woods. We both stood up and laughed as it ran away.

"Did you really think that would work?" I asked him.

Axl shrugged. "I was hoping you'd leave with a new pet today," He said, grinning.

"So, what are you up to today?" I asked Axl when we continued to walk along the path.

"Well, I was going to practice with the guys after this," Axl said, "What about you?"

"I don't really know. Probably nothing," I shrugged.

"You want to come hang out with us? I think Izzy's girl is going to be there," Axl said.

"Izzy got himself a girlfriend?" I asked.

Axl nodded. "Her name is Sarah, I think," Axl told me, "Maybe you guys can talk about girly things and all that while we practice."

I just laughed. "Girly things," I repeated.

"Yeah, like makeup and clothes and all that shit I know nothing about," Axl said. I smiled and shook my head.

"You're funny," I told him, "and speaking of the band, how is it going?"

"Well," Axl began, "I think we might be going on a tour soon. We're trying to get one together."

"Tour?" I asked.

"Yeah. North America and then a break then to Europe," He shrugged, "We want to see the world."

"I think that's awesome. I think you should," I encouraged him.

"Would you go with us if we did?" Axl asked me.

"I will have to talk to Cassie, but yeah, I'd love to. I love to travel," I told him.

"Touring is fun, Laura. It brings out the weird in all of us," Axl said as we reached the end of the trail.

"What now?" I asked him.

"We'll head to Slash's place. We always practice in his basement," Axl told me.

Slash's house wasn't like Axl's. It wasn't a huge mansion in Malibu, California. It wasn't near the beach and it wasn't in a particularly wealthy area.

Slash lived in a decent sized home in Studio City in a normal neighborhood. Sure, there were poorer neighborhoods than this one, but there were also richer ones.

Slash was definitely more humble than Axl and knew he didn't need a huge mansion to himself, which I respected. But, either way, I still liked Axl.

We pulled in his driveway where a couple of other cars sat. Instead of knocking or ringing, Axl just walking right inside and called for Slash.

"It's fine, I do it all the time and he does it at my place," Axl told me.

"I didn't say anything," I told him.

"I knew you were thinking it," Axl said, which he was right. I was thinking it.

"Hey, Axl, we're in the basement, man!" Slash's voice called from downstairs.

Axl took my hand and lead me down a hallway and to a set of stairs. We walked down them to find the rest of the band already down there.

"Started practice early, I see," Axl said, looking around at his bandmates.

"Yeah, we got bored, man," Duff said, playing with the tuners on his bass.

I took a seat beside a girl who was sitting on the love seat in the corner of the room.

"Hi, I'm Sarah," Sarah introduced herself.

"I'm Laura," I smiled.

"Are you and Axl, like, a thing?" She asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah, we're together," I said.

"Oh, me and Izzy are together, too," Sarah told me.

"Yeah, Axl mentioned something about Izzy having a girlfriend," I said.

"Oh, well, here I am," Sarah said, smiling.

The band began to play and the two of us sat back and watched them. We occasionally made comments to each other over the loud music and always clapped for the band after a song was over.

I had to say, I was loving being around some rockstars and Sarah was a really nice girl.
