"There she is" Carrie noted as Alexander's eyes didn't leave her as she ascended the stairs, the flashes of many cameras were blinding,

"Anabella! Over here!"

"Anabella!"

"Ana!"

Many photographers shouted trying to get her attention, she smiled in every direction trying to please everyone when she got to the top of the stairs a young girl with a tape recorder rushed to her side,

"Ana! With the merge are you going to be the face of both hotels?" she asked pushing the recorder closer to her,

"If they let me I would love that" she replied.

She tried to get from between the swarm of people, she lost Lynn somehow and looked around frantically,

"Ana!" "Anabella!" "ANABELLA!" was all she could hear as she turned each way trying to find a way out.

Everyone watched as she struggled,

Margaret was about to tear through the crowd to get her baby but Andrew grabbed her,

"You wanna get trampled? It's her fault she came late" he hissed, but Margaret was still going to get her,

"That's our daughter maybe you should act like she's yours once in a while since I wasn't the only one enjoying making her" she retorted and Andrew was shocked at her response, as she pulled away.

She fought her way through the mass of people,

"Ana!" she shouted trying to get her attention but her name was being shouted from all directions.

Mabel and Carrie watched from the side-lines,

"Maybe you should help her" Mabel nudged Alexander and he chuckled, disappearing around the corner.

The lights were shut off quickly and everyone groaned in confusion, Anabella felt a hand grab hers and she followed it assuming it was Lynn, they quickly rushed away. When the lights came back on Anabella was nowhere in sight leaving everyone puzzled, the DJ cranked the music up, people seemed to still wonder about her but they soon got hypnotized by the beats.

Anabella heard a door close as she blindly followed Lynn,

"That was close girl. Where are we?" She asked but Lynn didn't respond, "Lynn?"

She walked around waving her hands in front of her when she bumped into a solid structure,

"We seem to always meet like this" his voice boomed in the darkest, she backed off quickly realizing it wasn't Lynn "I should probably hit the lights" he turned on the lights quickly and she blinked rapidly as the blinding light filled the room. She squinted from the blur that was now in her eyes but she could make out a tall man standing before her, he wore a smooth beige jacket with a formal white inside shirt and white slacks finished with beige shoes,

"Alexander?" she asked,

"You remembered" he gave her a slanted smile,

"What are you doing here?" she asked now having her vision back, he stood against the wall, of what looked like a lounge,

"Well I was saving you from a crowd but now you're good I guess I should go" he smirked before leaving the room without missing a beat. Anabella didn't expect him to leave so she was a little ways behind them, when she got to the door she saw him turning the corner quickly, Anabella followed as fast as she could but her strappy footwear wasn't ideal for chasing.

"Hey! Wait!" She shouted and he stopped "Thanks for that I didn't mean to sound rude"

"You're welcome" he replied before walking off in the other direction,

"Aren't you joining the party?" she asked following him slowly, but he stopped to face her,

"I would but this hotel has much more to see. Care for a tour?" he said looping his arm, Ana bit her lip lightly she was supposed to be seen at the party but the idea of getting a tour with the mysterious Alexander sounded much better.

"Sure" she locked arms with him as he smirked at her.

He took her through most of the floors showing her the art gallery, restaurants and many lounges, it was quiet since most of the hotel was either at the party, out or having sex with someone or probably just sleeping.

"How do you know so much about the hotel?" she asked their arms still locked together,

"My best friend works here, so he got me a job" he replied thinking quickly, he told Jeremy he might have to pretend to be him for a few days.

Alexander noticed Anabella rolling her ankles as she leaned against the railing looking down at the fountain on the ground floor. The pain from her shoes was becoming unbearable as she walked on the hotel's carpeted floors,

"You should probably take them off" he suggested and her head shot up quickly,

"No I'm fine"

"Are you sure?" he cocked at eyebrow at her,

"Mhm" she smiled and nodded,

"Great, well I'm going to take you to my favorite place here."

"I'm ready" She smiled enthusiastically

"It requires you to walk up 5 flights of stairs" he stated and she deflated as she sighed, he chuckled, "Come on take off the shoes" he said taking 2 steps towards her closing the gap between them "Anyone looking at the fact that you're not wearing any shoes really isn't looking at you" his voice was low and raspy as he pushed her hair behind her ear.

I hope he didn't shift my hair.

She thought at the tender moment, "Okay I'll take them off" she gave into him,

"Perfect" he stooped quickly unclasping the shoes and her aching feet stepped from the shoes, his eyes followed her legs all the way up to eyes as she looked down at him.

Author's Note:

So its 1:51 am and I just finished this chapter when i initially started this chapter today it was going great until my laptop shut down in my face and i have a bad habit of not saving while I write so I lost more than half of this chapter.

I was so pissed I went back to studying for my exam but I wrote it over on my phone and I'm pretty pleased at how this came out

Hit that little star if you're ready for Anabella and Alex's night time adventure.
