Once I heard my aunts voice I knew she was here I could smell her sent too.

When I seen her brother walk in the kitchen and her behind him I knew that today was going to be a long day. When my uncle introduce us and asked her where she wanted to sit I knew she wasn't going to sit next to me and I was right she had sat in between Nate and jake

Adrianna POV

Once I was seated in between Nate and jake

" Hi I'm jake Cummings

And I'm Nate willings" they both said at the same time

" Hi I'm Adrianna" I said to them shaking their hands

" Your Xan mate right" Nate said kind of loud making everybody turn to me

" No I haven't found my mate yet" I told him looking at my hands in my lap

" You haven't, aren't vampires suppose to find of mate like at your age" jake said making me look up

" Yea but neither me and my brother had found our mate yet" I said looking at my brother then to Xan who looked somewhat pissed

" Can I use the bathroom" I said standing up and looking at Jeremy for permission

"Yes and Xan can will show you the way" Jeremy said looking at Xan then me

" Come on" Xan said looking at me

With that I followed behind him

"How did they know" I asked him look up at him hoping he won't look back

" I told them" he said still continued to walk

" Why" I said "and I'm not your mate any more so why would you tell them" I told him

" Cause I wanted too and I never agreed to your rejection so it didn't work" he said stoping and looking at me

'geesh why is he so tall' I said to myself

" Why didn't you, you said you didn't want a leech as a mate and I didn't want a dog as a mate problem solved we reject each other" I said to him

"What if I didn't want to reject you" he said looking down " your here" he said not even looking at me and walked away bumping into my shoulder leaving little sparks
