  Tell her she is gorgeous,

Tell her she is beautiful,

Stunning,

Wonderful,

A diamond in the rough,

Sugar sweet,

And dipped in gold.

Soon enough she might believe it,

She'll stop seeing the pain behind those big brown eyes,

Or the scares she gave herself because of self loathing on her thighs.

Maybe she'll forget the suffering of hurting people,

Just because she looks stunning with blonde hair,

Tell a girl she looks pretty enough,

She might just forget that she want to hear that.

She doesn't want to be told she has a perfect figure,

Or that her ass looks amazing,

That she should smile more.

Maybe tell her she is intelligent,

That she is a delight to hold conversation with,

That her laugh lights up the entire room when she thinks a joke is hilarious.

Her mind will last far longer than any physical trait,

Cushion her thoughts so her inside doesn't rot,

For a apple can be painted gold but still expire.

Why do we obsess over the physical when it wilts away so quickly?

If we idolized inner beauty and the Mind,

Think of how much people would prosper from thinking that way?

But go ahead and tell her that her ass is nice,

Or her her tits are big,

Please make her look harder in the mirror,

So she can find and fix all her flaws,

All for the sake of beauty.
