Mystery is the antagonist of truth. It is a fog of human invention; that obscures truth, and represents it in distortion.

Niera's POV

Complete stillness and stun-ness engulfed her hearing my words. Like a Viper coiled around her bouncing figure. She went stiff while her face went paler than the boiled egg.

Tiara who until now was clutching my shoulders, raised her head to look at me and then at her.

"Um! We—Sweetie." She initiated with hesitation gripping her tongue.

I waited for her to speak because this was my moment to enter the mist of mystery behind this name.

Moments passed in anticipation and hesitation.

I was anticipating the answer any moment while she was passing time in hesitation.

Or finding a way to avert the topic! My subconscious muttered the obvious.

But why would she? After all it's just a name. Reasoning cells reasoned.

Then why she is buying time like you have given her the problem related to find out the absolute mass of earth in space.

Huh?

It's Physics dear. Please concentration on your problem. Sanity cooed me.

"Miss Mahriya?" I gained her attention which was already on me.

"Mahriyah dear."

Huh?

She even in her hesitant and time buying state corrected me promptly.

I gritted my jaws before moving my neck in vertical movements.

"You were saying something." I reminded her as my patience was running away in the direction of African Forest.

"Yes, I was. Wasn't I?"

Well in my honest opinion; you weren't but who am I to point out.

Shut up!

Taking a deep breath, she was opening her once grinning now palpitating face. My curious cells were over the edge to receive the crucial information.

"I—I can't tell. We are not allowed to." She stated breaking the layer of silence and the hope of my curiosity cells.

W—What?!

This is not fair!

"Um! Well, what do you mean you're not allowed? It's just a name." I said in utter frustration and numbness.
