~Y/N P.O.V~

As whoever it is lets go of me, eventually, I turn around sharply. It's the person I really hoped to see, yet the person I dreaded seeing at the same time. Josh.

"Oh my god, Josh! You're ok!" I exclaim, relieved.

"Shush," he replies bluntly.

"W-what?" I say in confusion.

He widens his eyes at me, "Y/N shut up."

"Josh" I whisper. "What is happening?"

"Follow me," he directs. "Quickly."

I walk behind him, into some small building. It must've been where people put their bikes or skateboards, in the past,  as there's some old looking ones still in here. There's also a rusty metal chair and desk; Accompanied by loads of gears and screws. This place has got a weirdly creepy atmosphere, though being hidden- from possible security- makes the situation a bit better.

"Ok, what the fuck is going on?!" I question, finally able to speak.

"Nice to see you too," he smiles sarcastically. "So basically, I lied to you. I didn't get kicked out of my house, some people that are looking for me, Simon and JJ, literally chased me away from it. They've been waiting outside for days, and since my parents are away, I can't do anything about it."

"Why don't you call the police?" I suggest.

"Because they're there for a reason," he sighs. "We stole something from them, and they are not happy about it. They have more to tell the police than we do."

"Oh," I utter, sympathetically. "Why didn't you stay at my house?"

"I didn't mean to just leave like that," he looks down to the floor. "I needed to get away, and this is the only place I could think of."

"I'm sorry Josh," I say, biting my lip.

"Yeah me too," he responds, talking more softly. "But that's not the worst part-"

As if on cue, something bangs on the door.

I feel my heart race rapidly increasing, "They're here, aren't they?"

"I put the note on your door before I knew they found me, I didn't have time to warn you. I-I'm sorry..." is all he can say back.

"Simon's out there!" I panic, bringing my hand over my mouth.

"What?!" he exclaims.

"He refused to let me go without him, so I just hid him behind a tree. I thought you mightn't come if you saw anyone else," I explain, hearing Josh groan, while tears begin falling down my cheeks.

"We need to help him," I cry. "How many people are out there?"

"Five all together," he tells me, nervously running his fingers through his hair. [A/N: Just imagine Josh doing this... Fuck 8P] "Look, we need to stay here Y/N."

"What if they've got him? Five against one! He might be tough, but that's practically impossible," I whimper, wiping my eyes- though there's no point, as more tears keep flowing.

"And if we leave, it'll be five against two. And I don't like my chances of you knowing how to fight," he says. Josh has got a point. We might all be taken or something if we go out there. I really want to help Simon, but maybe staying will help more?

The banging continues, getting louder and more frequent, but there's nothing we can do. I grab the chair and shove it under the door handle, in hope it will stop the people, or at least buy us some more time to think.

"Listen, I know you don't wanna call the police, but we're gonna have to," I shout over all the noise. He reluctantly nods, so I reach into my pocket. But it isn't there.

"Fuck sake," I yell, covering my face with my hands .

I left it in the car.
