[A/N: Thanks for the support on the last chapter. I realised I'm thinking of this as kind of a chore, but it's really not- I write because I enjoy it, and I've really remembered that.]

~Y/N P.O.V~

I've been holed up in my bedroom for the past couple of days, thank god we have a week off school. I know I shouldn't care about Simon not liking me, because he never really said he did in the first place, but I just felt it y'know. Additionally, he hasn't tried to text or call me at all, which I think made me feel even worse. In fact, I haven't even seen him since Sunday. He doesn't have an excuse this time.

~Simon's P.O.V~

I've been holed up in my room for the past couple of days, I would've just skipped school if we weren't off. I know Y/N never said she likes me or anything, so I shouldn't care if I ruined something that wasn't even there in the first place- but I just felt it y'know. I also thought it would be best to break up with Melissa, she was doing more bad in my life than good. I haven't tried to text Y/N though. I know she's mad and it could easily just make things worse. In fact, I haven't even seen her since Sunday. Maybe I should see how she is?

~Y/N P.O.V~

I hear my phone ringing some time later, seeing Lee's contact appear on my screen. I answer the call and press the cold metal to my ear.

"Are you still in your room?" he questions, not even saying 'hello'. I exhale in annoyance- he's definitely gonna try and get me to go out.

"No Lee, I'm out running a marathon. That's why you can hear my TV in the background," I say sarcastically.

"Don't sass me missy, now get dressed and I'll be there in half an hour," he decides.

"Ugh whyy?" I groan. It's eight o'clock and I've already settled down. Well I haven't actually done anything, but you get what I mean.

"Why won't you just let me relax?"

"Because Y/N, you're not relaxing. You've got Simon on your mind and I'm going to fix that!" He hums cheerfully down the phone. Well, I can't say my best friend doesn't know me.

"Where are we going then?" I ask, pushing myself up for the first time in ages.My legs literally almost give way underneath me, from the lack of standing up for the past few days. [A/N: Does this happen to anyone else, or just me? lol, props just me- I'm weird.]

"That's for me to know, and you to find out," I can almost see him smirking. "Just wear something not too dressy, but not too casual."

"Ok?" I reply, questioning my decision in agreeing to go out with him. However, I pull a black skater dress out my wardrobe- not too dressy, but not to casual, right? I nod to myself at my choice.

"See you in thirty minutes."

"Twenty five now, love ya!"

I laugh lightly, "Love you too!"

I lay the dress on my bed, along with some underwear, whilst I have a quick shower. After getting out and drying my hair, curling it a little, I put on the dress with a leather jacket on top. I look myself over in the mirror and am pretty happy with my appearance, in the most non-conceited way possible. Usually I wear contacts, but my glasses go with this dress, so I put them on too. [A/N: I really want glasses! Idek why, I just love them. God the struggles or having perfect eyesight :))] Walking downstairs, I grab a small handbag and my phone, ready to go whenever Lee arrives. As if on cue, I hear a light knock on the door- which is a bit unusual since Lee has a key, but I let it slip and answer the door.

It happens again. Simon...

"Why does this keep fucking happening to me?!" I accidentally exclaim out loud. "Oh s-sorry, hi Simon. What's up?" I put on a smile, trying not to show that I'm dying inside right now.

"Woah, you look..." he says, scanning me up and down. My stomach erupts with butterflies and I get the urge to kiss him, but I ignore it- after all, he has a girlfriend.

"Um thanks," I accept.

"Hey, I didn't know you wore glasses?" he notices, looking at me in confusion.

"Yep. I normally wear contacts, but they go with this dress, so," I answer.

"You should wear them more, they really suit you," he flatters again. Isn't he meant to have a girlfriend? And he's flirting again...

"You look hot," he mutters. THAT IS IT.

"Simon, aren't you supposed to have a girlfriend?" I say, a bit more angrily than I intended. I can see he's slightly taken a-back by my comment, however he quickly replies.

"I broke up with her," he half-smiles. I can't help but to also let out a grin. Where I previously felt like I had a broken heart, I now feel as if it's slowly being put back together.

"But, why would you do that?" I ask.

"Because I like-"

"What the fuck?! Why does this keep happening?" I hear Lee's voice and my eyes widen, he's gonna be mad.

"Hey Lee," I smile awkwardly.

"Oh my god, you look amazing Y/N. But what is he," Lee scowls at Simon. "Doing here? I do not want a replay of last time, when you haven't even gotten over it yet." He pulls a 'I fucked up' face, as he realises what he said.

[A/N: This face-

What's actually the name for that look? Leave it in the comments if you know :)]

"You were upset?" Simon questions, with a pained expression on his face.

"Kinda," I half lie, rolling my eyes at Lee. "Ok a bit more than kinda."

"I'm so sorry Y/N, I never meant to upset you. Wait what actually did upset you?" he realised. "Was it me not texting, or something else?" He looked slightly hopeful for some reason.

"It was just, I um, I kinda," I stutter nervously.

"Oh my fucking god, she likes y-" Lee snaps, before stopping halfway.

"W-what?" Simon says, even though I'm pretty sure he understands. Ugh, he's never gonna like me at all now.

I wish I'd just shut the door, or said nothing...

A/N: Another chapter yay.
