Chapter Three - My Element

Start from the beginning

Max was still in shock as he opened and closed his mouth like a goldfish, pointing at something in the air. Looking up I gasped in shock. Around me were balls of fire, water, rock and a small tornado. It was the four elements. They were my 4 elements. A new sense of power came over me, as if no one could hurt me now that I had 4 elements. I had done some research last night in the library, there were only two other people in the history of Benders that had more than one main element and they ended up ruling.

"Now this is cool" I said to no one in particular but was answered by the King.

"Yes, it really is, Alisa why don't you try and move one, try to control it" he instructed me. At this point Max had snapped out of it and came closer to me.

"Alisa focus on what one you want to control and move it" he instructed me.

Thinking over what I wanted to do I decide on the water element, it's payback time Max I thought. With a flick of my wrist the water in the air was over Max in an instant.

"What was that for?" asked a soaking wet Max looking bit pissed off and a bit proud for whatever reason.

"You not letting me finish breakfast" I answered with a shrug and a small smirk on my face.

"Alisa it takes a bender with only one element to learn how to control it like you just did years of none stop practice. You however have four and can control like a master. You truly are special Alisa" the King said the last part with awe.

My element lessons from now on were going to be with Max and the King. In the five hours of the lesson they taught me a lot, how to us the mind link better and faster, how to block myself so no one could read me, it came to a point where the King couldn't even read me. I also learned how to call me elements one at a time or all at once, and how to control them so they don't take over me.

It was around 3pm when Ash came and found me in the music room saying it was time for his lesson now. In the three hours of the lesson I had with him we covered all the main things like history, law, geography, potions, and math's. We found out that I had a photographic memory so everything would be way easier to remember just hard to forget. I also learned that every bender out there had another bender for them, something like a soul mate; the Gods made you for one other said Ash. I asked him if he found his soul mate all he said was a yes but it was so obvious that only the thought of the lucky girl made him forget what he was going to say next.

You know if the person is you soul mate because when you see them your insides will turn you element inside you will not rest until you two make contact even then you will always have an desire to see them, hear them and touch them. It made me think, do I have someone waiting for me like that? That would love me even like this? No, I said to myself. No one will love you Alisa, your too messed up look at yourself you have the evidence right on you, the scars.

At 6pm the doorbell rang, running out of the study I sprinted down the stairs in record time. Yanking the door open I greeted my uncle and his family in.

"Ally" the twins shouted before throwing themselves at me, knocking all three of us down. Hugging them tightly I picked them up asking them, "How you guys doing?"

"Look, look at what we can do!" Leo said while Lucas got out a wilted flower out of his pocket. Putting it in his palm the both of them scrunched up their faces, concentrating on the flower, suddenly the flower blossomed into a beautiful red rose. Picking it out of his palm Lucas handed me the rose saying "There you go" with a kiss on my right cheek and Leo on my left they wriggling out of my grasp as I put them on the ground. Their element must be growing things like flowers or trees.

Hugging the rest of them we headed into the kitchen when Lilly called us to come and have dinner. Sitting down in the middle of Isaac and Rose the table had so much food on it that it would have been enough to feed an army of people. Max, Ash and the King came to join us a few seconds later. Here, sitting down around the crowded table reminded me of my birthday all those years ago. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts I began tucking in to my food.
