"Did you just get suspended again?"

Joy hissed, kicking the benches as Sungjae carefully walks beside her.

"No!" She growled, hitting her knee again in the bench. "Yah, hajima." Sungjae yelled, grabbing her arm as Joy scowled. "It's not like you would help!" She almost landed her slap in his face, before Sungjae sighed. "You're acting up again."

Joy can only reply with another hiss, slapping Sungjae on the head as she sat over the bench she just kicked.

"Can you close your legs? Stop acting up when you're wearing a skirt." Sungjae murmured, chewing his gum as he pushed her legs forward to enclose it since the lady that was wearing a skirt.

She was always the aggressive, boyish type of friend. No one even dares to come close to her since she's always scary. But Sungjae came on the third year of their high school, the complete reverse of Joy.

He was always the calm, and forgiving type. Whenever she would let her temper out, he knew he had just to create a barricade between her and the other people. "You really are something, Park Sooyoung." He chuckled, adoring her expression whenever she is mad.

"You look like a toddler." He teasingly pinched her cheek, before earning a glare. "Do you want to die?", "No, madam." He smirked, sitting beside her as he mumbled.

"Why did you even punch the student council, you jerk?" He sighs, looking over to her.

"Well, he's being disrespectful." Joy mumbled, finally calming down after he talks.

In all honesty, she always picks up the nonsense fights- even to him. Yet whenever he would approach her calmly, she feels as if she needs to settle herself down as well. He was the only one who can make her shut up within her anger issues.

"What did he do?" He questioned, before his eyes lingered over her. Joy could uncomfortably stare back, unable to reciprocate his gaze since she knew the heat was sprawling over her cheeks.

He's the heart throb, and everyone loves him. They even question why he was friends with her, but he keeps on insisting she's different.

They are not in a relationship, but they can never call themselves as friends as well. They are... ambiguous. Well, atleast for her.
