Harley's POV

It's been a week since my first day of school. I've been hanging out with Kaycee and Samantha a lot, not so much the boys. They started going to the gym at lunch since they had 'stuff' going on in the morning.

Not sure what 'stuff' is, but I'll roll with it.

Over the past week, Mason has been starring at me a lot. I'll glance at him and he'll already be looking at me. Of course I didn't discover this myself, Kaycee pointed it out on Tuesday and now I've been looking over curiously every lunch hour.

It's starting to happen at home now too. I'll look up from my phone or something and he'll be talking to my brothers but glancing at me. It makes me uncomfortable but also makes me feel a bit weird in my stomach in a good way.

I'm probably just happy about getting attention.

Don't get me wrong, I've been more than enough attention over the past month, but I still like it. I mean, I'm not an attention seeker, or at least I hope I'm not anyways, but who doesn't love attention? I for one hate being ignored, so the attention is nice, and come on, it's fact that this attention will ware off soon.

At the moment, I'm laying in my comfortable bed, on top of the covers, and reading a book. That's until someone comes knocking on my door, or should I say wall? I don't exactly have a door, just a cool looking string curtain hanging up there.

"Yes?" I respond to the knock and look over.

Speaking of the devil.

"Oh hey Mason." I smile at him.

"Hey, Kaycee called the house reminding you about a party?"

He sounded agitated?

"Oh! I forgot I was supposed to call her! Thank you." I drop the book that was in my hand, mentally slapping myself because I forgot to look at the page number.

I avoid the book, knowing it'll just anger me further since I was just about to get to the good part, and find my phone.

Three missed calls from Kaycee, and four from Sam. A couple texts from some people from school who I don't talk to very often and some notifications from games and Instagram.

I call Kaycee, completely ignoring Mason. Well in all honesty, I forgot he was even there.

Within three rings she answers.

"About time girly. We're thirty seconds away from your house, you better be ready." Kaycee immediately says.

"I'm ready. I'll be down in a second." I say then hang up.

"Sorry." I say quickly to Mason as I rush past him and down the stairs.

Was it smart of me to leave Mason up in the room by himself?
