*Jenn’s P.O.V*
I wore a blue bathing suit top and black swim shorts. I through on a tie dye purple tube top that looked good with the black shorts and tied my hair up in a high pony tail. Joey finally had the day off and to celebrate all his hard work us and a few friends were all going to the beach.
I packed some sun screen, big aviator glasses that Joey helped me pick up a few weeks ago and a towel. I heard a honk from outside and could only assume it was Joey. I slipped on some sandals and locked my door behind me before jogging to his car and got in.
Joey had on a white and blue stripped muscles shirt and baggy jean shorts, he wore aviators over his eyes and his hair wasn’t spiked up like it normally is.
“Hey Jen,” he greeted after I shut the door.
“Hey Joey, how are you?” I asked leaning closer and throwing an arm around him. He hugged me back tightly.
“Good and you, you ready for this epic adventure?” he asked dramatically.
“To the beach? Oh yea,” I said with a smirk. He laughed driving off. We chatted about his filming and how everything was going and he asked me about my videos which were going well. Not many were up but people were watching them.
At the beach we spotted Megan who I only met a few times, Luke who I’ve grown to really like, he was so talents and Cat was there too along with more of Joey’s friends that I’ve met once or twice.
We all walked together trying to find the perfect spot. Cat instantly linked her arm with mine. I smiled at her putting my sunglasses on over my eyes since it was bright.
“How are you and lover boy?” she teased. I rolled my eyes with a smile.
“Nothing new to report,” I teased back.
“I’m going to try to get you two together today, it’s my goal,” she stated.
“Come on Cat no, don’t make it awkward. What if he’s not looking for a relationship right now?” I said. She gave me a look over her sunglasses.
“Hey what are you chickies talking about?” Joey asked stopping till we caught up with him, we were sorta trailing behind.
“Oh nothing Jen was just telling how happy she is to be here with you Joey,” Cat said happily and I glared at her.
“Awe Jennyanya, I’m glad you could come, it’s going to be fabuloso,” Joey said putting his arm around me. I laughed a bit.
“I can only imagine,” I said smiling up at him.
We eventually found a spot and everyone put their stuff down and stripped from their normal clothes leaving them in their bathing suits. I couldn’t help but glance at Joey more than I should. He had such a nice body. I couldn’t believe this was officially the first time I’ve seen him practically half naked. I mean the short blue swim shorts he was wearing didn’t leave much to imagination.
We all put on sun screen and I lathered it on cause I normally burn really easily.
“Jen, don’t forget your back. Joey help her out,” Cat chipped in. I gave her a warning glare. She was really good at this but I didn’t want this to move too fast, assuming there was anything at all.
“Sure,” Joey’s voice came and he sat beside me.
“Thanks,” I said shyly pulling away my pony tail and let him sunscreen my back. When he was done he quickly turned his back to me.
“Mine turn,” he stated in a silly tone. I laughed covering his back in sun screen as well.
Once everyone was ready a few stayed on their towels on the beach while the rest of us raced for the ocean. It was great. I’ve never got to have fun like this before, not even when my parents were alive. I had such a simple life with friends that didn’t know the true meaning of fun. Fun didn’t have to always mean getting drunk in a bar, it meant doing something different like this. In the whole month I’ve been in Joey’s life we’ve went out drinking once and that was perfectly fine.
We all splashed about have a blast. Joey came at me picking me up and dunked me under the water. We both surfaced in each other’s arm laughing. I looked over at Cat who came to come swim or rather take pictures. She stood with the water up to her knees and a camera in her hands.
“Smile guys,” she said.
“No,” Joey screamed and pulled me back under the water. We surface again and he was fully carrying me bridal Style with my arms tightly around his shoulders. Cat was right there taking pictures. Joey dropped me laughing. I quickly tacked him latching onto his back making him fall. He gripped my legs standing up and trudged around the water with me on his back. I couldn’t stop laughing this was the most fun I’ve ever had.
Many pictures were taken that day some I knew I’d want to keep forever and other’s I’ll probably stare at and day dream about.
The boys started to play some epic Frisbee so the girls hung out in the shallow water watching.
“So hey when did you and Joey start dating? I can’t believe he hasn’t told me,” Megan commented slapping my knee. I blushed big time.
“Oh my god we’re not dating,” I defending shyly.
“She totally wants to though,” Cat said laughing as she nudged me. I put my hands over my face.
“It’s cute I can see it happening,” another of Joey’s friends said that I couldn’t for the life of me remember her name.
“Yea of all of us he sees you the most,” his friend Stacy said. I only remembered her name cause I’ve seen her in his gaming channel. I blushed again.
“Stop it nothing is happening, we’re just friends. I’m like the new toy basically. Once our friend ships grows old he’ll probably find another girl to hang with,” I said with a shrug looking down . All four of them slapped me.
“Joey isn’t like that,” Stacy said.
“Seriously he loves all his friends but I can tell he sees something special in you,” Cat explained. I shrugged again.
“Jennyanya,” I heard Joey yell from the sand I looked over at him putting my hand up to block the sun so I can see. “Watch this,” he called out happily and through the Frisbee under his leg perfectly to Luke.
“Sexy,” I called out clapping and he made a super hero pose. All the girls started giggling. I splashed them. “Shut up,” I said stubbornly crossing my arms. They laughed at me again then talked amongst each other eventually. I wrapped my arms around me knees looking over where Joey was standing. He spotted me watching and waved. I smiled and waved back but only to get noticed by Megan and teased all over again.
