Eridan's P.O.V.
Today is the day. Y/n thinks we're just going out an a date, I mean we are, but they don't think it's anything special. We were walking around town, window shopping, when we walked by a mini golf course. I glanced over at them and I couldn't help but smile. The look on y/n face was one of childish wonder and joy. Before I could ask if she started talking.
"OMG ERIDAN!! iusedtogominigolfingwheniwasgrowingupiywasalwaysmyfavoritethingtodo!!" She was talking so fast I could barely understand her. I put my hands on her shoulder
"Hey, n/n. sloww dowwn. I can't understand a wword you're sayin." I smiled at them while their face bloomed with blush.
"Sorry, I was saying that when I was little we would go mini golfing. I got a little excited.."
I grabbed their hand, "let's go" and pulled them into the little hut where you got your stuff. We went through all 18 holes, which took a few hours with all our goofing around, and now we were getting hungry. Kan still hadn't texted me, so I assumed we were alright. We went to a little diner for lunch. We sat down in a booth and waited for a waiter.
"so, wwhat are you looking forwward to on your birthday?" I smirked subtly, hiding it as a smile.
"Well, I think it would have to be that you have to spend the day with me, cuddling mostly." They had a shine in their eyes, I knew they were daydreaming about what they thought we were going to do. As I was about to say something the waiter walked up and we ordered milkshakes. They continued to daydream as I took in their features. Our milkshakes arrived, snapping both of us out of our thoughts. I took a sip of mine.
"So, what'd you have planned for me?" They had a mischievous look on their face
I, in returned, raised an eyebrow "you'll sea." I smirked and the disappointed look on their face. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I opened it. A message from Kan appeared 'We Are Ready, Bring Them Back' I looked up at y/n, who had a confused look on their face "uh, somefin's come up.. wwe havve to go home." Fuck, I'm a terrible liar I brought the money for our milkshakes to the register and we left. Y/n kept badgering me the entire way there, but I didn't give in. Thankfully. I texted Kan as we pulled into the driveway, to ensure they were hiding and ready. I helped y/n out of the car and let her in first, watching as they opened the door
