I pull up at August house to see him outside with nick, paco and some other dude. They look at the car and walk to August who looked at me.
"Mom, Dad, meet my mate"i said.
"A what?"Nicole ask.
"Nothing"i hop out the car. My father and mother and daughter followed me to meet August.
"Hey"he smile at me.
"I-I need a place to stay. I can't go back to tasha place"I said. "I don't have any room for my parents"
"Sure, they can stay. But we have to talk"
"About what?"I said.
"About us"he said.
"Fine, but I'ma wait till they settle in"I said.
"Ok"he sigh and look at Nicole. "Something don't smell right with her"
"What you mean?"I look at him stupid.
"I don't know. I can't tell"he said. He kept looking at Nicole and then Nick. They both had a worried look on their face.
"What is it?"I ask.
"Something ain't right. Ima talk to him and see what's up"he said.
"What about Nicole?"I ask.
"I want you to talk to her. She listen to you"he said then look at my parents. "Ima Nadi and tell her about her fallow king and queen"
"That's not funny"I push him. He look at me and smile.
"You sleepin with me tonight"he said.
"No, I'm good with my peeps"I said.
"Sure about that"he whisper in my ear.
