she was friendly.
i managed to hold a conversation with her without feeling overly self conscious and socially awkward.
the train pulled to a stop. it was already nearing evening outside.
"i'm next," she said.
i nodded. she zipped up her jacket and sighed.
the train started moving again but it wasn't long before it began to slow down.
she lives one stop before me.
she stood and smiled.
"by the way, i'm Midori."
she shook my hand jokingly.
"Sora," i replied and watched as she walked out the doors of the train.
it jerked into motion.
she isn't what i was expecting.
what was i expecting? i don't know.
i put my earphones back into my ears and closed my eyes.
Midori. it suited her.
the ocean of Midori.
