"Just follow me."

Zach nodded and smiled. We both crouched and walked towards the blue tent.

A man with a beanie were gonna walk past us.
Think fast, Kayla!
"Wait. Hide!"
I pushed Zach while Zach pulled me into the bushes.
And of course, I had to fall on top of Zach.

"Uh, hi?" He said with a smirk.

"Stop it."

He wiggled his eyebrows. "Stop what?"

I rolled my eyes.
"I'm pretty sure he's gone."
I got back up and crouched so no one could see us.
"Alright, we can go behind the tent." I confidently crouches to the tent with Zach right behind me.
We made it. But all we had to do now was check if anyone was in the tent.

"Is there anyone in there?" asked Zach.

I opened the tent slowly.
"No, there isn't." We both then walked in, slowly.

But I was wrong.

"Shit." said Zach.

There was someone inside the tent.

Ha ha. I'm so smart.
Sarcasm, that was sarcasm.

It was a woman, snoring loudly on the floor.

"It's okay, she's in a deep sleep. Just get the stuff we need and go." I said.

Zach nodded. He quietly took his backpack, guns and knives.

"Damn, I didn't know you had that many weapons." I stared at his weapons.

"Yeah, I've been alone for a while now remember?"

I did a sideways glance at Zach and quickly continued to pack my stuff.

"Hey look, should we take their weapons? It could be really useful for us." He pointed at the other weapons.

"Yeah sure." I took all the weapons we needed.

"Done?"

"Yeah, let's go."

A man suddenly comes in.
"HEY! THEY'RE HERE!"
Everyone started taking they're guns and starts shooting.

I shot the man in the leg.
"Run!" I shouted.

We both ran outside the tent and the woman woke up.
"COME BACK HERE!" The woman fired her gun multiple times but missing miserably.

Zach shot back but misses too.

"Where are we going?" asked Zach.

"That way." I  pointed at the forest.

We ran and ran and ran.

I shot back and the bullet hit someone in the arm.

Many shots were fired at us.

"OW!" Zach nearly got shot on the shoulder.

"Come on! We need to keep moving!"

.
.
.

We made it deep in the forest where probably no one could find us.

It was getting dark. Zach made a fireplace and we also found a log and sat on it.

"It's getting cold isn't it?" I shivered.

"Here, I've got an extra jacket in my backpack if you want."
He took the jacket out and placed it on me.

"Thanks."

A Bloodling came about. Making horrible noises. Walking towards us.

Zach took his gun.
