You sat on the couch in your apartment, huddled under a mountain of knitted blankets that were given to you by half of the lame adults as housewarming gifts, the decorative pillows from the other half filling up any empty space left on your couch. You sang along with the theme song of your show as the next episode started playing. You had been ignoring your phone, which had been completely blowing up, due to all your friends sending memes and half-assed attempts at making plans for the night.

You finally picked up your phone to check the messages. You saw that one friend suggested that you should all go out tonight. You looked out the widow and saw that it was still pouring rain outside and decided to bring that fact to her attention, to which she replied saying that a bar was inside. Everyone else agreed with your friend and so it was decided that you would have to leave your cozy den for the first time in a month, put on an uncomfortable outfit, and take shot until you almost drown in your own vomit. The group had made arrangements to meet at one of your friend's apartment at seven to get ready together. As it was already almost seven and you lived fairly far away from your apartment.

Once you got to your friend's house, everyone was putting on makeup in the mirror and trying on different outfits. You didn't really much like the whole makeup and clothes thing, but you followed along a bit just to entertain your friends. Your friends ended up picking an outfit for you and putting a bit of makeup on you, as you weren't really too great with doing makeup. One of your friends made a snarky joke about finally finding a girlfriend for you, to which you did an annoyingly sarcastic fake laugh.

When everyone was done getting ready, you all made your way over to the bar, which was pretty full for a Tuesday afternoon. You all sat at the bar together, your friends managing to get a lot of shots down in a very short amount of time. You managed to not be lowkey alcoholic for at least a little bit. You stayed sat in your seat at the bar as your friends ran off to do god knows what. As you watched people around the bar, you hadn't noticed someone had walked up to you and started leaning on the bar next to you.

"Do you always watch people get drunk?" The girl in front of you asked, her joke made you impressed. It was a joke and a legitimate question in one. You couldn't help but smile as she took a seat next to you, taking a sip of a pink coloured cocktail. She smelled of flowers and whatever new sex appeal perfume was popular. You couldn't help but feel embarrassed for how attracted you were to her only after your first interaction. She smiled at you as she swirled her chair over to face you.

"Do you have a name?" She asked and arched an eyebrow.  You nodded and took a sip of your drink. It took a few seconds and a little giggle from her to make you realize that she was asking for you to say your name. You mumbled an apology and said your name, to which she replied saying that it was a pretty name. You mumbled a thank you and blushed while trying to hide your face behind your glass in hopes that she wouldn't see how hard you were blushing. She laughed, but not in a mean way, more of her thinking you were cute, kind of the way you would laugh at a puppy, but not.

"My name's Michelle." She said as she finished off her drink and ordered another. You quickly looked around to try to find your friend, only to see they had all left you at the bar. You sighed as you knew this would happen, it happened every time. They all went to taco bell and we're ordering everything off the menu, that's just what your friends do when they get drunk. At least the company at the bar wasn't bad so you weren't really complaining.

"So Michelle, My friends drag me here often, and I've never seen you before, are you new in town?" You felt confident probably due to the drinking but still confident none the less and decided to try to make conversation instead of just sitting there drinking and blushing at the actually radiant goddess siting in front of you. The bad wasn't exactly well known or anything so you didn't expect anyone to make a trip longer than twenty minutes to get there and it was one of those bars where the costumers had been going there for years and no one new really went so you just assumed that she must be new.

"Yea I just moved into an apartment building not too far from here. On ----- street." She explained. You nodded absent mindedly then realized that that was your apartment building and told her that. She seemed surprised but you didn't really know how to expect someone to react to that. She suggested that the two of you should hang out and go for coffee or something sometime since you were so close to each other in proximity. You accepted the offer that wasn't exactly a solid plan yet, but it seemed like she was asking you out so of course you were going to say yes.

"Well then since we do live in the same building would you like to share a taxi together?" She asked as the two of you finished off your last drinks for the night and paying for them. You accepted the offer and she held out her arm as an invitation to link arms. You wrapped your arm into her's and the two of you walked out together to go get a taxi. On the ride back to your apartment building, the two of you talked more and you couldn't remember when but the two of you ended up being those people who make out in the back of a taxi. When the taxi got to your building, Michelle gave the driver money without checking how much it was and without separating from you. The two of you stayed like that as you went up the stairs, desperately fumbling to not fall down the stairs. Michelle's apartment was a floor under your's so you went to her apartment. You got lightly pressed against the door and she frantically searched her pockets for her keys. You ended up blacking out after that, and ever since then you vowed to never drink so you wouldn't miss anything again.

A/n: I don't know how many months it's been and honestly I don't really have any excuses other than writing fanfiction is kind of boring to me now. I will continue to write but it'll probably be months before I post new stuff so I wouldn't count on weekly updates or some shit like that.
