Thirty Ninth

James immediately moved in to unit 725. Since then Dani do the grocery not only for herself but for James as well. Dani was right, only a few days later she already saw some fans trying to visit James in his new place. Good thing the building has good security so they were able to keep their privacy intact.

Continuous knocks at his door wakes up James one day. When he opened it, he saw a fuming Tita Girlie. "Ang aga mo Tita, di ba seven pm pa yung mall show" he said

"Have you checked your Instagram and twitter account?" Tita Girlie irritably asked

"I haven't, ginising mo nga lang ako di ba. What's up?" James asked back

Tita Girlie showed an intagram post showing James and Dani together in a coffee shop "Care to explain why you and Daniella were together in a public place like starbucks?" Tita Girlie asked

James blew a deep sigh and replied "Hindi naman halatang kami eh"

"You haven't answered me yet James Esteban" Tita Girlie said

"Two thirty in the morning naman na yan Tita wala na halos tao sa starbucks" James replied

"Have you realized that it will only take a ten seconds instagram video post to expose Daniella into your world." Tita Girlie "You said you will be careful. When was this?"

"Kanina lang, late na kasi kami nakabalik from Bulacan" James replied. "Hindi naman kami nakilala, look at the post they were not sure if I am that guy" James reasoned out

"Kahit pa, you are exposing Daniella, you should know better. I am so disappointed in you James. You are so careless" Tita Girlie rants.

"I'm sorry, we want to have some tea sana para maka relax before we hit the bed. And since it's already two thirty in the morning we thought it is safer kasi dyan lang naman sa harap ng building yung starbucks" James explained.

"Wala ba kayong tea dito sa bahay at kailangan sa starbucks pa" Tita Girlie asked

"We run out of stock Tita" James justifies

"I have to talk to Daniella" Tita Girlie declared

"Ako na lang Tita, she is so stressed these days. She is way behind meeting her target for this quarter ayokong makadagdag pa 'to sa worries nya" James said

"Wag nang maulit 'to. In the meantime, let this die as the usual, there will be no confirmation or denial" Tita Girlie said

"Yes Tita, I understand. This will not happen again. I promise" James sadly said

"I know what you feel James, that's why I reacted this way. Promise me you'll be more careful next time" Tita Girlie softly said

"It's alright Tita, I understand" James said smiling

"Have you talked to her about your new movie project?" Tita Girlie asked

"Not yet, hindi pa ako makakuha ng tyempo. Malulungkot yun pag nalamang I'll be out of reach for a month" James replied

"When do you plan to tell her, sa Sunday na ang alis mo" Tita Girlie asked

"Last night sana, kaso she was so stressed about work. Hindi ako makatyempo" James replied

"You have to tell her James, and better do it fast" Tita Girlie said. "Don't worry , I will take care of her. I promise" she added to at least appease James on his worry of leaving for a month.

James has been planning to tell Dani about his new project. Dani was aware about his movie but she does not know that it will be shot in a location where communication will be totally impossible. The producers have a strict deadline of the project so the whole team decided to work where nobody could disturb them. But what worries him more is the fact that the producers are rooting for him and his new leading lady, an idea that will truly upset Dani. But he have to tell her before anybody else tells her first.

"Will be home in a bit, parking lot na" was the text message Dani received from James.

Dani started re-heating the dinner she made. This is how they are since they became neighbors. After a few minutes her doorbell rang. As expected it was James standing at her doorsteps with a huge bouquet of yellow carnations. She smiles widely when James gave her the bouquet.

"Thank you, ang ganda naman nito kaso ang bigat" she said chuckling. James took back the flowers from Dani to help her put it on the table. "Istorbo ka naman, I am preparing dinner nag doorbell ka pa" she said smiling

"I could not reach the keys ang laki kasi nung flowers na nabili ko" James explained

"Why don't you go and change first while I am still re-heating the food" Dani suggested

"Later na lang, gutom na ako eh. After the mall show I quickly run home" James said

"Ok, please set the table para makakain na tayo" Dani requested

The two enjoyed the dinner that Dani have prepared. James took the chance to tell Dani about the movie while they were having their ice cream dessert.

"I am leaving for the movie shoot this Sunday" James started. Dani continued eating her dessert as she already read about it and she got upset hearing it from James only a few days before he leaves.  She never looked at James, the entire time she eats her ice cream. "Medyo malayo yung location and according sa mga crew mahirap daw ang signal. I will be out for a month" he added while Dani remains consuming her dessert. She did no say a word and James begins to worry.

"Hey, I said I will be gone for a month and yet not a single word from you" James said

"I already read about it James. I just could not understand why you are telling this to me only now while I already read about it weeks ago. I thought hindi tutoo kasi hindi mo naman sinasabi sa akin. By the way, I also read about Agatha Domingo this morning, in fairness you look good together. When do you plan to tell me about her" Dani said. James felt how upset Dani is. He quickly gave her a hug to comfort her.

"There is nothing to tell about her" James said. "Hindi ko kasi alam kung paano ko sasabihin sa yo yung tungkol sa pag alis ko na hindi ka ma-upset. Please don't get mad at me" James said but Dani remains quiet. "Please talk to me. I want to know what's on your mind" James explained

"Wala naman na akong pwedeng sabihin. Nandyan na yan eh, wala naman na akong magagawa" Dani replied

"I'm sorry, hindi ko sinabi agad" James apologized

"Wag mo nang isipin yun trabaho yan eh. I had a long day today, nakakapagod. Magpahinga na tayo." Dani said and disappointment still very evident in her

"I love you" James whispered.

Dani looked at him and taps his cheeks. "Magpahinga ka na rin, I'm sure napagod ka sa mall show. Please lock the door when you leave" she said smiling and went inside her room.

James knows that Dani is very frustrated and as she said they could not do anything about it anymore. He stares at the bouquet he gave her earlier, it still sits on the table and Dani did not even bother to at least put those flowers in a vase like she use to do before.
