"Hello Dani? Manila ka na?" James started

"Yes, pauwi na ako sa condo" Dani replied. "May gusto ka daw itanong sabi ni Tita Girlie"

"Yeah, ok lang ba? Did we bother you?" James asked

"No, not at all! Sabi ko nga kay Tita hindi naman stressful yung byahe ko ngayon so I could accommodate your concerns. What do you want to know?" Dani asked

"Dani, I just want to know kung pwede ba akong tumambay sa condo mo ngayon?" James asked

He heard Dani laughs from the other line. "Bakit ganon yung tanong? Parang hindi naman yan yung sinabi ni Tita Girlie" Dani said still laughing

"Napuputol yung line, I could not hear you clearly" James reasoned out

"But it was clear earlier when Tita Girlie and I were talking. Dun ka sa area ni Tita Girlie, malinaw ang signal dun" Dani instructed

"I'll just go to your place, pack up naman na ako" James said

"Are you serious?" Dani asked. "Yes I am" he replied.

"Alright bring some ice cream" Dani said which made James smiles widely

"Yes ma'am" he replied and hangs up. He saw Girlie staring sharply at him arms crossed.

"She told me to bring some ice cream" he said and that huge grin never leaves his face

Girlie blew a big sigh "Sige na, hindi naman na kita mapipigilan, yung kotse ko na lang ang dalin mo, pero ihatid mo muna ako pauwi" She said in surrender

"Thanks Tita, I owe you this one" he said and gave Girlie a peck and a hug.

"Hey, not only this one, you owe me everything!" Girlie declared "Kaya kapag ako hindi mo kinuhang ninang sa kasal nyo ni Daniella eh magkalimutan na tayo.  And FYI kay Daniella lang, ayoko ng iba" she added

"Ikaw pa ba mawawala dun" James replied. "

At sinagot mo pa talaga ako ng ganyan, Malala ka na nga James. But I like it." Girlie replied but James just responded with a big smile that reaches his eyes.

As agreed James brought Girlie to her house before heading to Dani's condo. It's been weeks since the last time he saw her. Excitement is all over him as he could not choose on the ice cream flavor he will bring so he decided to buy three variants.

It was almost five in the afternoon when James reaches Dani's place. She widely smiles when she saw the three tubs of ice creams which James is holding as he stepped in her unit.

"Ang dami naman nito" she said

"I forgot to ask you what flavor you prefer so I bought three options. I hope may tinamaan naman akong flavor na gusto mo" he said

"Are you kidding, I love all these flavors. Wait lang ilagay ko muna sa freezer. I ordered pizza, ok lang ba yun? I was not able to do the grocery because of that unplanned trip." Dani explained

"Pizza is fine. Sana sinabi mo para ako na rin ang bumili ng food" James said

"No big deal, sinagot mo naman ang dessert eh, sobrang dami nga lang" Dani replied

"No problem, pag hindi natin naubos ngayon eh di babalik ako bukas, kapag hindi pa rin naubos bukas, babalik ako ulit sa susunod na araw. Babalik balikan ko hanggang maubos natin" James said.

"Wag na, magastos sa pizza araw-araw" Dani replied laughing.

"Then I'll buy the food for us" James said.

"Ano ka ba? Binibiro lang kita" Dani replied

"Why were you not replying to my messages? I tried calling you also but cannot be reach ka naman" James asked

"I left my personal phone here" she replied "I saw your messages, hindi na ako nagreply anyway pupunta ka naman dito eh"

"How was your trip?" James asked as he sat on the lazy boy chair

"Ok lang, ayoko naman talaga mag attend ng mga ganung conventions kasi more on acquitance lang naman yun. Mas mahaba pa yung party kesa sa session itself. Ang maganda lang, I get to meet some of the Account Managers from the other companies, so ok na rin" Dani said

"So ok lang istorbohin kita?" James asked "Sorry ha, you are supposed to be resting by now"

"Ok lang, besides I will not be resting, later uuwi na rin ako sa Bulacan, magpapalipas muna ako ng traffic para hindi stressful magdrive" Dani stated

"Hatid na lang kita para hindi ka mapagod mag drive" James suggested

"Wag na no. Ikaw nga itong galing sa work, so dapat you are resting na" Dani protested

"Kaya nga nakikitambay ako dito sa place mo eh para maka chill naman nang konti" James said

"At saka, I need to bring my car. May mga gamit ako sa Bulacan na kailangan kong dalin dito sa Manila. Mahirap mag bus pag maraming bitbit" Dani explained

"Eh di gaya ng dati, susunduin kita sa Sunday" James said while comfortably sitting on the la-Z-boy chair with his eyes closed. Since his eyes are closed he did not see that Dani never removed her gaze on him. She could not understand why she was so happy looking at him comfortably relaxing on her favorite furniture.

"Wag na gagabihin ka pauwi ng Laguna. I'm sure you still have work tomorrow. I can manage James, thank you for the offer" she replied

"Afternoon pa ang schedule ko, so ok lang mapuyat" James said then opened his eyes which made Dani quickly break her stare. "Besides, namimiss ko na si Tita Mary"

"Utang na loob James, wag ka na talagang pumunta sa Bulacan. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako nakaka move on dun sa last na pagsundo mo sa akin. Buong araw akong inistorbo ng Nanay ko dun sa mga hinanda nya na parang pang fiesta" Dani exclaimed

"Which reminded me na nag promise nga pala ako kay Tita na dadalhan ko sya ng paella na luto ng Mommy ko. I really need to go to Bulacan, baka sabihin ni Tita Mary joke lang yung promise ko" James said.

"What? Iistorbohin mo pa talaga ang Mommy mo?" Dani said

"Sus, maliit na bagay. I'm sure my Mom will like it. She really likes to brag about her paella kaya pag nagpaluto ako dun malamang tuwang-tuwa pa yon" James said

"Ang maipilit mo talaga eh no" Dani said.

"I'm doing you a favor Daniella, wag ka nang maarte. If not, isusumbong kita kay Tita Mary. Sasabihin ko na ayaw mo akong payagang bisitahin sya sa Bulacan" James threatens

"Wait for the pizza delivery. I'll just  prepare the things that I need to bring to Bulacan. Let's just discuss your concern on Equity Fund on our way there.  Call me pag dumating na yung delivery" Dani said 

"Take you time Daniella" James beams and went back in lying on Dani's favorite furniture to relax.
