31. Honeymoon

It was the Monday after Scorpius and Rose's wedding. Rose had taken the week off for their honeymoon.
It was 7:30 a.m. Scorpius was already awake and packing his suitcase. Rose was still sound asleep. Normally, it would be the other way around, but Scorpius wanted to get an early start on his honeymoon with Rose.
He finished packing his suitcase and then went around the bed to wake Rose.
"Rosie," he whispered.
She stirred, but didn't open her eyes.
"Rose!" Scorpius whisper-shouted.
Rose turned over. Scorpius sighed. He went around to the other side of the bed. He leaned in close to her face.
"Rosie," he said in a singsong voice.
Her eyelids twitched. Scorpius smiled to himself and climbed on the bed. He stood up and began to jump up and down like a little kid. Rose's eyes shot open and she sat up quickly.
"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy! Get down!" Rose said.
Scorpius smirked and climbed off the bed.
"Merlin's beard!" Rose exclaimed.
"You wouldn't wake up," Scorpius shrugged.
Rose rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at Scorpius. It hit him in the chest. He put a hand to his chest and fell to his knees.
"The agony!" Scorpius said before falling onto his back.
Rose giggled and threw another pillow at him. Scorpius scrambled to his feet.
"What was that for? I'm already dead!" Scorpius exclaimed, throwing a pillow at Rose.
"You're a terrible actor," Rose giggled.
Scorpius rolled his eyes and tackled Rose. They fell back on the bed with Scorpius on top of Rose. She laughed.
"So, where are we going today?" Rose asked.
Scorpius smiled.
"It's funny that you think I'm actually going to tell you," Scorpius said.
Rose rolled over to she was now on top of Scorpius.
"Merlin's beard! What have you been eating?" Scorpius joked.
Rose giggled and rolled off of Scorpius's stomach. He groaned, which made Rose laugh.
"So, where are we going?" Rose asked again, hoping to trip Scorpius up and make him tell her.
"I'm not telling, Rosie!" Scorpius said, turning into his side and propping himself up on his elbow.
Rose frowned and gave Scorpius her big puppy eyes.
"Not telling!" Scorpius said in a singsong voice.
He stood up and finished packing his trunk for their honeymoon.
"Come on, love, get packed," Scorpius said, patting Rose's thigh.
She sighed and got up. She pulled out her wand and her trunk. She waved her wand and all her belongings went flying into her trunk. She closed the trunk lid and flipped down the clasps.

After they were finished packing, they got dressed. Rose wore a white tank top and the jumper she had bought Scorpius all those years ago. Scorpius wore a Slytherin shirt and jeans. They slipped on their shoes and Rose levitated their trunks down the stairs to the front door. The two of them walked outside with their trunks and Scorpius grabbed Rose's hand. Scorpius Apparated them to their honeymoon destination.
They arrived a minute later. Rose looked around her and saw a big stone archway and a tall metal structure. Rose turned to Scorpius and grinned.
"You brought me to Paris!" Rose said excitedly.
Scorpius nodded and Rose hugged him. They released each other and grasped hands. They started to walk towards the Arc De Triomphe. They walked through before heading off to the Eiffel Tower. They took the elevator up to the top and looked around. There was a magnificent view.
Then, they went to the Louvre. They saw paintings by all kinds of artists. Then, at the end of their museum tour, they saw the Mona Lisa.
"Oh, Scorpius! This is my favorite painting!" Rose said excitedly.
Scorpius smiled and kissed her forehead. They went to the gift shop of the Louvre and Scorpius bought Rose a Mona Lisa replica. They paid and left the museum.
By then, it was almost 12:30 and Rose and Scorpius were both hungry. They decided to eat at a French café called Délicieux Café.
Scorpius and Rose ordered a large cherry pastry bar to share and two teas. Their order came quick and they scarfed down the food.
They left and went to check into their hotel. They went up to the front desk.
"Name?" the girl, who's name was Jen, asked.
"Scorpius Malfoy," Scorpius said, leaning against the edge of the counter.
The woman began to type quickly on her keyboard. She clicked on something and looked up from her screen.
"Yes, yes. Booked a suite with a king size bed for two?" Jen said.
Scorpius nodded quickly. Jen handed them their room cards and they went to the elevators to go up to their room.
"Brilliant. I've never seen such things before," Scorpius said, watching as people piled into the elevators and the doors opened and closed.
Rose giggled and then another elevator came. They climbed in and the elevator went upward. Scorpius looked mystified by the whole thing.
They finally reached their floor and they got off. They walked down the hall to their room. Rose showed Scorpius how to use the card to get into the room and they entered.
The room was huge. A four poster led sat in the middle with a flat screen TV on the wall. There was a big couch with a coffee table in front. A huge bathroom sat off to the right of the bed and a kitchenette was off to the left. Scorpius took it all in in amazement. Rose laughed and collapsed onto the bed. Scorpius fell on the bed beside her. They grinned at each other.
"This is amazing, Scor," Rose said, turning her head to kiss him.
They pulled apart and Scorpius grinned.
"I am, aren't I?" Scorpius said with a laugh.
"Shut up, you big git," Rose said, hitting Scorpius with a pillow.
"Are we starting another pillow fight, Mrs. Malfoy?" Scorpius said, putting emphasis on Rose's revised surname.
Rose blushed at the thought of her being a Malfoy now. She threw another pillow at him and ducked when he tried to throw one at her.
"A sly one, you are!" Scorpius said.
Rose giggled and ran into the bathroom. She shut the door behind her and locked it so Scorpius couldn't get in.
"Real clever!" Scorpius shouted, pulling out his wand, "Alohomora."
The door unlocked and Scorpius flung the door open. Rose sat in the corner of the bathroom, hugging her knees. Scorpius pulled her to her feet.
He pulled her in for a kiss. They pulled apart and Scorpius grinned at her.
"Peace offering?" Scorpius asked.
"I don't know..." Rose said with a sly smile.
Scorpius chuckled and kissed Rose again, more passionately this time. Rose smiled into the kiss and Scorpius picked her up. They continued to kiss as Scorpius's carried Rose into the bedroom and laid her down on the bed. They finally broke apart and stared into each other's eyes.
"How about now?" Scorpius asked.
"I guess," Rose sighed with a smile.
Scorpius rolled his eyes and kissed Rose again for flopping down on the bed next to her.
