A Healer came into the hospital room to take Rose to surgery around 7:30am. Scorpius was still asleep, so the Healer woke him up before wheeling Rose down the hall to the surgeon.
"I'm going to take Ms. Weasley down for her surgery now, Mr. Malfoy," the Healer told Scorpius.
Scorpius nodded groggily and fell back asleep.
Rose was wheeled down the hall and into the room where the surgery would take place.
The surgeon, Dr. Zachary Walter, pulled on a pair of blue gloves and positioned a light over Rose's head. He made a small incision just above her right eyebrow. He shined his wand over the cut he had made in her head. Her skull was shining with blood. Zachary took his wand and began siphoning off the blood. After it was all gone, he stitched up her head and Rose was rolled back down to her hospital room.
Scorpius was sitting up straight in his chair, twisting his hands in his lap anxiously. When he saw Rose coming back, he jumped up and went to her side.
"Oh, Rose. Is she okay? What happened during the surgery?" Scorpius asked the Healer.
"There was some blood on her brain, but it was removed and she should be perfectly fine now," the Healer explained.
Scorpius nodded and he moved so the Healer could put Rose's bed back where it was before.
As soon as the Healer left, Ron and Hermione came rushing into the room.
"Is my baby alright?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah, the Healer said there was a bit of blood covering her brain, but they got it off and she should be alright," Scorpius assured her.
Hermione nodded and sat down beside Rose on the bed.
Ron stood next to Scorpius, watching his wife and daughter.
"Thank you," Ron said.
"Whatever for?" Scorpius asked him.
"For staying with my daughter through all this. Even though she's not awake to witness it all, I know she's grateful you're here too," Ron said, placing a hand on Scorpius's shoulder.
Scorpius smiled at Ron.
"Hermione, let's go and let Scorpius have some time with Rosie," Ron motioned for Hermione to follow him out of the hospital room.
Scorpius waved to them as they left. He sat down next to Rose on the bed and took her hand.
"Aw, Rosie. Please wake up. I need you in my life," Scorpius pleaded with her.
He looked over at the shelf full of flowers and cards across the room.
He stood up and went over to the shelf. He took down the card from Hermione and Ron and read it out loud.
"Dearest Rosie, We miss seeing your eyes shining and your lips curved up in that charming smile. We miss hearing your kind, sweet voice. We love you very, very much and we hope you will wake up soon. Love, Mum and Dad," Scorpius read.
He looked up at Rose and smiled.
He picked up the card from Harry and Ginny.
"Dear Rosie, We miss you very much. We are praying you are well each and every day. We love you so much! We hope you wake up soon. Love, Harry and Ginny."
Scorpius put that card down and went back to sit next to Rose.
"Rosie, everybody misses you. Please, please wake up. We need you like we need air. You hold everything together and now that you're not here, everything's falling apart. Please come back to me," Scorpius said, running his hand through her flaming red hair.
Suddenly, a hand clamped around Scorpius's wrist.
"Scor..." Rose whispered weakly.
"Rosie!" Scorpius exclaimed, jumping up.
"What...where..." Rose croaked.
"You're in the hospital, Rosie. You got hit in the head with a Bludger in your Quidditch match," Scorpius explained as calmly as possible.
"Oh...I have a headache, Scor," Rose whispered.
"Oh, okay. I'll get your Healer," Scorpius said, starting to stand up.
"No...no...don't leave me," Rose begged.
"Rosie, I need to get your Healer, sweetie," Scorpius said kindly.
Rose shook her head stubbornly.
"Fine," Scorpius gave in.
He waved his wand and his Patronus soared through the air and down the hall to get the Healer.
The Healer came a moment later.
"Oh my, Ms. Weasley! You're awake!" the Healer exclaimed.
"Yes, she has a headache. Might you fetch her some medicine?" Scorpius said politely.
"Certainly," the Healer replied.
The Healer waved her wand and a bottle of medicine flew into the room and landed in the Healer's hand.
"Here you go, Ms. Weasley," she said, handing Rose a pill to take.
Scorpius conjured a cup of water for Rose to use to take the pill. Rose swallowed the pill.
"Anything else, Ms. Weasley?" the Healer asked.
"No thank you," Rose said with a weak smile.
The Healer smiled and walked out.
"Oh, Rosie! I missed you so much," Scorpius said, hugging Rose.
"I missed you too. Also, when I was unconscious, I thought I heard you say you went to the beach?" Rose said.
"Uh, yeah, about that," Scorpius laughed.
"I got jealous after you told me that," Rose said with a smile.
"Sorry sweetie," Scorpius laughed, kissing Rose's forehead.
Rose smiled and set her head on Scorpius's shoulder. He grasped her hand and squeezed.
"Careful, Scor. My body is still recovering," Rose warned.
"Sorry," Scorpius replied quietly.
"It's okay. Would you mind lying me down?" Rose asked.
"Not at all," Scorpius replied, lowering the bed magically.
"Thanks. Here, lay with me," Rose said, sliding over so Scorpius could lay beside her.
Scorpius lay down beside her and ran his fingers through her hair.
"I love you," Rose told him.
"I love you too," Scorpius replied, kissing Rose's lips.
She kissed back passionately.
"I missed that," Rose said with a smile.
"I missed everything about you," Scorpius whispered.
Rose smiled and fell asleep almost immediately.

Please comment chapter suggestions! I appreciate it!

The next chapter will be about everyone else finding out about Rose and there will be a slight cliffhanger. If you don't like cliffhangers, wait until I publish the chapter after before reading so you won't have to wait.
