Rose woke up and looked over at the clock on her nightstand. It read 7:30 a.m. Rose sat up in bed so quickly that spots formed in front of her eyes. She sat still for a minute and waited for her head to stop spinning. Then, she jumped out of bed and ran down the steps to the kitchen.
She ran to the fridge where her work schedule for the week was. She looked at it frantically. It read:

Monday: 8-5
Tuesday: 7-11
Wednesday: 7-4
Thursday: OFF WORK
Friday: 8-4

She let out a sigh of relief. She didn't have to work today. She rubbed her eyes and went back upstairs. She climbed back into bed with Scorpius.

Rose woke back up a couple hours later. She looked over and saw that Scorpius was no longer asleep beside her. She got out of bed and went down to the kitchen to make breakfast.
When she reached the kitchen, she found Scorpius sitting at the kitchen table eating eggs, bacon, and toast and reading the Daily Prophet.
"Morning, love," Scorpius said without looking up from the paper.
"Morning, Scor," Rose replied.
"What do you want to do today?" Scorpius asked her as she scooped eggs and bacon onto a plate and popped more bread into the toaster.
"I was thinking we could have a Scorose day," Rose said.
"A what?" Scorpius asked, slightly confused.
"A Scorose day," Rose repeated with a smile as she sat down.
"What's that, exactly?" Scorpius asked, setting down his paper and looking up at Rose.
"It's a day where we spend time together, just the two of us. We do things that we decide on together," Rose explained, drinking deeply from her coffee mug.
"I love it," Scorpius replied with a grin.
Rose smiled.
Before she even began to eat, however, she reached across the table and grabbed her novel, which she opened up and placed above her plate on the table. She picked up a piece of toast and started to read. Scorpius rolled his eyes and smiled.
"My little bookworm," Scorpius said, linking his fingers with Rose's.
Rose looked up at him and smiled. She leaned in and kissed his cheek softly before turning back to her book.

After breakfast, Rose and Scorpius went back upstairs to their bedroom to change clothes. Rose put on a blue shirt with skinny jeans and black flats. Scorpius put on a blue polo shirt with light khaki pants and tan shoes.
"You look lovely," Scorpius told Rose as she walked down the stairs.
She reached the bottom and kissed his lips lightly before taking his hand and Apparating to Hogsmeade.
"What do you say we start here in Hogsmeade, hmm?" Rose said sweetly.
Scorpius nodded and kissed Rose's cheek. Rose smiled and they walked down the cobblestone path, hand in hand.
"Where to first, my love?" Scorpius asked.
"Um, how about Madam Puddifoot's for tea?" Rose suggested.
"I'd love to," Scorpius replied.
They walked into the shop and sat down at a table near the window. An older witch came bustling through the slightly empty shop to their table.
"What'll it be today, my dears?" the witch asked.
"I'll take a cup of tea with a bit of honey and chamomile, please," Rose said.
The witch wrote down Rose's order before turning to Scorpius.
"I'll take a cup of tea with honey and chamomile and just a little bit of lemon, please," Scorpius said.
The witch wrote down Scorpius's order and nodded before walking away.
"What would you like to do after this, Rosie?" Scorpius asked, taking Rose's fingers and lacing them with his own.
"Um, well-"
Rose was cut off by a loud popping noise. Rose looked up to see Lily standing before her.
"Lily! What are you doing here?" Rose asked.
"It's- Hunter. He- he- broke- up- w-with- m-m-me!" Lily sobbed.
She collapsed against Rose's arm and began to cry.
"Oh, Lil! I'm so sorry," Rose said, taking Lily into her arms.
Lily continued to cry.
Just then, the witch came back with Rose and Scorpius's teas.
"Thank you," Scorpius said to the witch as she set down their cups.
The witch walked away without a word.
Lily lifted her head slowly and looked up at Rose.
"Rose, what am I going to do?" Lily whispered.
"Well, first of all, why did Hunter break up with you?" Rose asked her.
"He said something about he wanted to see other girls and he couldn't be with me anymore," Lily explained.
Rose nodded.
"Well, first thing's first, I want you to wipe your eyes and stop crying over a bloody idiot like Hunter," Rose said, handing Lily a napkin.
Lily laughed slightly and wiped her face dry.
"Now, I want you to stop thinking about him completely. I don't want you to worry about what he's doing or where he is or why he broke up with you. Just stop thinking about him," Rose said, taking Lily's hands and looking into her eyes.
"Okay," Lily said after a moment.
"Now, think about anyone else you might like to go out with besides Hunter," Rose said.
"How will that help me?" Lily asked doubtfully.
"It will help you focus more on that specific person, rather than focusing on Hunter," Rose explained.
"Okay..." Lily said thoughtfully.
She thought for a moment before a smile crept across her face.
"You got someone?" Rose asked her.
She nodded and grinned broadly.
"Who is it? You look excited," Rose joked with a smile at her cousin.
"It's..."
