Chapter 44: A Flower Blooms

News about Akiko's tour traveled swiftly through the mouths and ears of Starlight Academy Idols.

"Sugoī, Akiko-san! I know you'll do great!" A girl said.

"I'll be cheering for you." Another girl said.

"Arigatou!" Akiko smiled at the group of girls.

Akiko went to the bulletin board that held the name of her tour, "Akiko Sun UP•RISE".

Her picture was on it, with the locations and dates of when and where she was going to perform.

She gleamed.

Then she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"It's time to practice, Akiko." Stella said.

Akiko then followed Stella to the practice room.

Right after they ran past her, Tomoe took a look at Akiko's poster.

"Tour?" She asked herself.

She took out her Aikatsu Phone to check where she stood on the list of idols.

She saw her name in the 200's.

"I have to do better."

Next to the water fountain, Shiyomi sat, smiling.

Just then, she saw Kimiko coming out of the school.

"Oh hey, Kimiko-chan!" Shiyomi waved.

Kimiko gasped, then quickly turned away.

"Kimiko!" Shiyomi called her name.

Kimiko ran back into the school without saying a word.

"Did she not hear me?" Shiyomi asked.

"I'm sure she heard, but she just didn't want to answer, Shiyo-chi." Shizumi said coming up from behind her.

"Why wouldn't she want to answer?"

"I don't know." Shizu said. "You shouldn't be her friend anymore."

"Why?"

"She's not a good person." Shizumi stood up.

"Just trust me, Shiyo-chi. She's not a real friend." Shizumi said going into the school.

Shiyomi was shocked to hear that.

She thought about what her sister said.

At Encierro's office, Jaja finished her photo shoot.

"Thank you, Yoshida-san. You really are a beautiful model." He said to her.

Jaja bowed her head saying, "Thank you, Mr. Atsūji."

When leaving, Jaja saw Usagi waving at her from the exit.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I came to tell you about this new movie coming out. " Usagi said.

"It's called, 'S'mores'." She said.

"It sounds pretty cool." Jaja said.

"It is. And this movie just so happens to need two different, yet similar idols." Usagi said.

"They already have Kirīya Aoi as one girl. And the auditions for the other lead is this Thursday."

"Thank you so much, Usagi! You could be a really good manager." Jaja chuckled.

"All this talk about smores is getting me hungry. Wanna go get a snack?" Usagi suggested.

"Sure." Jaja replied.
