Chapter Twenty Six : Winter Woods

"Bring us ......... bring us ....... bring us the documents ......or else, Jeon Jungkook dies!" a ghostly echoed voice hissed through my ears as I was woken up from the terrifying nightmare.

Cold sweat seeped down from my forehead and I was panting loudly. Suddenly a soft and warm hand covered my cold and sweaty forehead.

"Shh it's alright, it was a bad dream, just a bad dream. Go back to sleep" a soft and velvety voice whispered closely towards me.

My half-conscious yet asleep eyes looked around. I was nearby an emerald lakeside covered with lotuses and more greens as the dim moonlight shone across my face. Only then everything came back to me pieces by pieces, I had a few drinks at the party but little did I know I had the lowest alcohol tolerance and that was what got me here. Jungkook was sleeping soundly his hand still on my forehead leaning under the shady oak tree. Seeing him made me feel relieved. Slowly taking his hand away from my forehead, I got up from his lap draping him with my cardigan.

"You even sleep like a little boy" I smiled looking at him my face just inches away from his

"Don't leave me.." suddenly Jungkook pulled my arm towards making me fall on him recklessly

"Andwae Jungkook ah not here.. we're going to get caught" I whispered

"Then I'd rather get caught" he finally opened his half-asleep eyes as he gave me a peck on the lips

"Stop.." I chuckled between the kiss

"Make me" he replied

I pulled away pinching both sides of his chubby cheeks

"Argh what was that for?!"

"Stop being naughty before we got caught for not returning to the camping site"

"Heh says the girl who was shouting inappropriate words hours ago"

"I did not!" I rolled my eyes

"Oh my dear Jungkook, from now on don't look at your favorite singer IU, only look at me!" Jungkook imitated my drunk rant and ran for his life

"Yah hajima! Come back here Jeon Jungkook!"

And just like that we finally arrived to the camping site

"Go in" Jungkook direction his hand towards my tent

"Arraseo you too" I said

"Honestly I don't think I can ever sleep tonight.." Jungkook grinned shyly

"That's because you just took a nap just now pabo" I said poking his forehead

"Arsh its not what I mean though.." he pouted

"Then what do you mean?" I teased although I knew exactly what he meant

"Fine fine never mind pabo" he frowned folding his arms

Suddenly I give him a peck on the cheek as it slowly shaded light pink in an blink of an eye

"Was this what you were asking for? Goodnight Jeon Jungkook" I walked away entering the tent with a bright smile across my face

Morning came in and sadly, our camping trip had come to an end. We took our school group photo and safely returned to the school. I sat with Jungkook along the way although many girls were giving me the look not that it was much surprising anymore. I felt really uncomfortable at first but he made it all better by telling me his lame jokes and by playing around with me. Hyungwon on the other hand, haven't talked to me ever since that night. I tried talking to him multiple times but he always ended up walking away from me.
