We have been on the road now for 3 weeks now and I have a couple of weeks off so we are heading to Aspen for a week and then home for the rest of the time.
"Luke honey, can you take Bo please in just gonna take a quick shower" Caroline asked me
"No problem baby. Come here buddy" I said lifting Bo up. He was getting so big and developing his own little personality. "You and daddy are going to see the ducks" I said taking him outside. We walked about the lake and headed back to the house.
"Caroline baby we are back" I called upstairs
"Baby" I called again. No answer. I popped Bo on my hip and headed upstairs. I could sense something was wrong, I opened the bedroom door and there looked as if there had been a struggle, a few things where knocked over. Panic invaded me and I started running frantically through the house still holding the baby. I looked outside and saw a black Ford speed out the runway and I saw Caroline in the back. As I ran to the front door I saw a note pinned to it. I grabbed it and it read
I HAVE WHAT IS MINE. HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE YOUR WIFE COUNTRY BOY.
I fell to my knees, Bo started to cry with me, "hush baby boy daddy is going to find mama"
I got my cell phone out and called the cops
"Hi I would like to report a kidnapping"
