Chapter 24

I touched down in New York and headed to my hotel to meet my manager Kerrie.
I was staying at the four seasons one of my favourite hotels. I so wish Caroline was here to experience it with me, but I'm going be so busy and it will be more beneficial for her to start looking for land. She has complete control of where we build it my only stipulation was, plenty of land for a catfish pond.
I arrived at the hotel and Kerrie was waiting for me
"Hey Luke, good journey" she asked
"Yeah it was a smooth flight. So what's the itinerary for the next five days" I asked. She handed me a sheet of paper.

It was actually not that bad Kerrie had spread the workload really well. And I would be home a day earlier than I thought I would.
"Thanks Kerrie, I will go take my things upstairs to my room and give Caroline a call."
"No problem Luke I will meet you in an hour for some lunch, go get freshened up"
I went upstairs and called Caroline.
"Hey baby, that's me here, I will
Forward over a copy of my schedule and then you will know where I am" I said
"Hi sweets, yeah that's no problem. How is the hotel"
"You would love it baby it has a spa and everything"
"Oh don't make me jealous baby. I could be doing with a good old soak. Feeling kinda sick"
"Go eat some saltine crackers and have some hot tea baby. Get well soon hate when you are ill. Ok I need to go and meet Kerrie for lunch. Take care. I miss you and love you"

Caroline POV

I had been feeling off ever since I came back from PCB but I never said anything to Luke. I am also 3 weeks late with my period. I popped out to the drug store and got a pregnancy kit and went back home. Leclaire was out at a friends so I had the house to my self to take the biggest life changing test of my life. If it's positive I hope Luke will be happy I don't think I can do this on my own. I went into the toilet and peed on the stick, set the time rand waited, the longest two minutes of my life. The timer went off and I looked at the stick and it said......
