Chapter 18

I woke up at 4 am so I could get my things together and get to the airport for my early morning flight. I whispered to Caroline
"Baby you don't need to come to the airport if you don't want to"
She stirred and sat up
"Luke I'm coming give me five minutes and I will be ready, I want to spend every last minute with you" she said jumping up and throwing on some sweats and my hoodie "see I'm all ready to go"
I said goodbye to mama and asked her to look after Caroline and that if she wanted to stay and mine then to let her.
We sat in silence all the way to the airport, holding one another's hand, enjoying the silence and the company.
I arrived at the terminal and parked up my truck. Caroline was going to drive it back.
"Baby I want you to spend as much time as possible at mamas if you want and I'm sure Sadie will be welcome also."
"I need to go home at some point baby but I love staying at yours as well and I think your mama enjoys the company."
The tannoy called my flight
"I need to go baby, I will miss you. The time will fly in and before you know it I will be back home"
I noticed her frown a little
"What's up baby" I asked.
"Home here to Leesburg or home to Nashville" she said
"Baby my home is where you are, we can discuss it more when I'm home, ok"
"Come back to me" she said
"Of course I will. Now please be careful going home ok. I will call when I land in Seattle ok baby. I love you" I said kissing her passionately
"I love you too" she said when we finally broke apart.
I grabbed my bag, gave her one last kiss and headed to my plane. 
I got on the plane and got my note pad out the words to a new song started to flow.
