First attempt:
Three months is enough time to wait until the first kiss, right?
That's what Taehyung thought.
They were walking back to Jungkook's house from their date.
Taehyung was mentally gathering courage with each step. He was going to do it. He wanted to.
Who wouldn't want to kiss someone as cute and amazing as Jungkook?
He's sure Jungkook wouldn't mind.
They exchanged a hug and there was silence.
It's now or never, Taehyung thought.
Taehyung looked into his Jungkook's eyes and Jungkook looked into his.
This is it. It's perfect.
Taehyung thought this was the right moment.
He leaned in, looking into Jungkook's eyes to make sure that it was okay.
Jungkook didn't pull back.
He was so close to his lips until Jungkook spoke up, startling Taehyung.
"Thank you for the great time Tae. I'll see you tomorrow!" Jungkook beamed before retreating into his house.
He left Taehyung shocked, stunned and confused
Taehyung didn't understand.
He really thought he read all the signs right.
Jungkook was smiling and didn't pull away. So why?
Did Jungkook really not know what Taehyung was trying to do?
Or maybe Jungkook didn't want to?
Taehyung decided to not fret over it and just try again another time.
There's always an opportunity for this to happen.
