Ruler

GAVRIELOUS

You might be asking now why I don't want to give back the diary.

Baka nainis na rin kayo dahil ang ganid ko.

But you don't know my story.

Hindi pa ako buhay, may share na ang pamilya ko sa Reyna. Hindi ko alam kung aksidente o sadya yung pagkamatay nila. Pero one thing is for sure, kagagawan iyon ng Reyna.

I was just an infant when my family died. All because of the Queen.

There were foreigners in that time. They attacked my Province and the Queen had nothing to do with it all because she was not ready.

WHAT KIND OF KINGDOM THAT HAS NO SOLDIERS?!

Eightwoon. We were nothing. We have no unity, the Queen just think all about herself.

I saw that in her diary, sinabi niya na it was her fault why Gavrielous' family died.

Because of her, I never had love. Because of her, I am indeed in pain and hurt!

Because of her, my life also changed.

She took me in, put me in training.

Put her trust in me, put her everything on me.

She place me on the highest position next to the Queen.

She just did that because there was a condition.

Just because my family died, she did that to make me feel comfortable and not in hurt.

But anyways, I now, know the truth.

Why my family died, why she won't let the others go into my position.

All because of that.

How dare she.

Kasalukuyan ay nakaluhod ako sa harap ng Reyna, kakasampal niya lang sa akin ng dalawnag beses, nakapaligid ang mga Eightwoon's at Eightwan's. Lahat ay natahimik sa pagsalita ko.

"I forgive you, my Queen but you shouldn't let that secret in" sagot ko, "Gavrielous" naiiyak na sabi ng Reyna.

"I didn't put you into Baron position because of that, I saw greatness in you, that you will lead our people, I saw that you had the integrity, the strength, the wisdom and everything that a ruler should have" sabi niya pa, "I put you there because you are next when I can't handle the kingdom anymore" sagot ng Reyna.

Wait, what? Hindi siya mamimili sa amin? ANO?!

"That means that.." sabi ni Polaighne pero pinigilan siya,

"Hence, the new ruler of Eightwoon, Gavrielous!" pag-announce ng Reyna na nagdadahilan na magulat ang lahat. AKO NA ANG BAGONG TAGAPAMUNO?!

"No, my Queen! I'm not ready" sagot ko, hindi ko pa kaya. Ayoko nito! "Yes, you can!" sagot ng Reyna.

Lahat ay tumikhim nang umalis ang Reyna na iniwan ang kanyang korona sa aking ulo.

Napailing ako, ayoko nito. Di ko kaya ang responsibilidad. Ayoko.

"I can't do this" sabi ko, "You have nothing to do with it, you need to follow her orders" sagot naman ni Antoinette.

"No, I can't be here!" sabi ko, di ako makapaniwala! Imposible itong mangyari!

Nananaginip ba ako? Hindi maari!

POLAIGHNE

Nagulat kami sa biglang tugon ng Reyna. Hindi niya na ba kaya kaya ipinasa agad ang korona kay Gavrielous? Ganun ba yun?

Maski ako ay di rin makapaniwala.

Nakita ko rin yung sama ng tingin ni Genevoughn at Narcissus. Nako, wag sana sila magsimula ng away dito.

"Hindi ako ang Hari, hindi ako ang tagapagmana" sabi ni Gav at akmang ibaba ang korona, "WAG MO IBABA!" sigaw ko, loko ba siya? Pagbababa ng korona ay isang sign na iiwan mo na ang sarili mong kaharian! Loko talaga.

"Look Gav, the Queen has chose her heir at ikaw yun, Gav! Ikaw!" sabi ni Anderssen. Dami pang arte nito eh pero sa katotohanan, gustong-gusto niya na. Wag kami ang lokohin niya.

Dumaan ang ilang linggo at di nagpakita ang Reyna sa amin at patuloy pa ring tumutulong at sumusuporta ang Eightwan sa amin.

Hirap na hirap si Gav kasi ang daming gagawin. Ang daming responsibilidad kaya nandyan lang sila Harlionne, Bernadette at Brillianna upang tumulong sa kanya.

Mukhang may masamang balak nga nanaman si Genevough eh.

Patuloy pa rin yung mga nagpPDA diyan at patuloy rin ang pagliligawan sa mga Eightwoon at Eightwan.

Pero nakakapanibago talaga. King Gavrielous. Wooh, grabe. Ibang klase talaga.

"I miss the Queen" narinig ko si Patriesce, "Yeah, you're right, she's a better ruler than Gav" sagot din ni Auvrianna, "No it's not Gav, it's King Gavrielous" dagdag ni Dominiqueu.

"No one asks for your opinion, poorlita" Patriesce said, that's a harsh one.

"Nako, mag-aaway nanaman ba kayo?" narinig ko si Auvrianna, pansin ko nga laging nag-aaway yung dalawang yun eh. Patriesce and Dominiqueu?

Yeah, they fight a lot. A lot means every minute and every second.

Weeks came and King Gavrielous is too much in pressure, until one day came...

I saw Jouffines and Clariode, sweetly holding each other hands and while watching them being sweet, I don't mind them but...

"Remove that or chop it off?"

Lumingon sila and saw the Queen, "YOUR HIGHNESS!" napabati kaming lahat, "We missed you!" bati rin ni King Robertius. Malapit na rin pala umalis ang mga taga-Eightwan's, 2 or 3 months na lang yata?

Mga ganun.

"Conference room, 7pm, let us have a meeting!" ngiti ng Reyna.

She's been long gone, by the way. And we missed her a lot.

Dumating ang 7pm at syempre maaga pumunta ang lahat, excited na kami ano, ayoko ring mamuno si Gav, hirap na hirap siya. Halatang di talaga kaya.

"I've been watching you day and night" sabi ng Queen, "I saw that Gavrielous is not yet ready, so I will be back to rule the land and one by one, I will test you on how to rule our land" sabi ng Reyna, oh how I am excited for this!

"Gavrielous, give me the crown" the Queen said at buti na lang, binalik na ni Gav. "I missed you, kids" ngiti ng Reyna at yinakap kaming lahat. It ain't that easy without her.

"Sweet niyo naman" lumingon ako at nakita si Jonashaun. "Uy" bati ko, "Ako din dapat may hug" ngiti niya, "Hug ka sa Hari niyo" sagot ko, "Gusto ko galing sayo eh" ngiti niya. PDA.

"Not interested" sabi ko at pabalik na sanang dorm pero nangulit. Ay ang kulit. "Shall we have a race tomorrow? If you win, I'll give the hug you wanted but if I win..." sabi ko, "You must buy me a new training sword, mine's rotten" sabi ko, "Deal!" he smiled.

"So, it's settled then?" I asked, "9AM sharp, see you at the stables" sabi niya, "You bet I will" I said and bid him goodnight.

The Queen's back. No more problems!
