They requested another tattoo au but I'm making it different. This time, whatever you write on your skin, it appears on your soulmates skin.

"This sucks." Clyde said.

"You're the fucking genius who got us into this!" I said.

It's Saturday afternoon and Clyde and I are at the face paint tent in our schools fundraiser. Clyde and I made a mess in the art room and the art teacher, who hates us, said "If we love paint so much then we have to volunteer at the face paint station."

"Watch your language! There's supposed to be lots of kids here!" Clyde said.

I roll my eyes as I start to set up the face paint shit. As I put everything out, I see blue ink appear on my wrist.

Remember, meet B @ 3:30

While my soulmate is hanging out with B, I assume it's their best friend, I'm stuck at this thing.

My soulmate loves to write reminders on themselves. I guess they are forgetful. I don't mind since they write really tiny. I usually ignore it anyways.

"The SM is busy today?" Clyde asked as he walks by me carrying boxes. I flip him off, "Just asking!"

We finish setting up with 5 minutes left to spar.

"We're ready for business!" Clyde declares as he sits in his spot.

"You know face paint is literally the worst? Like your soulmate is gonna have this on their face. That isn't really fair." I said as I sit in my spot.

"Most people who get face paint are kids and kids don't even have a SM yet." Clyde said.

"Oh yeah, that's true." I nodded.

"Ya know we get our SMs when we hit puberty, well we're suppose to!" Clyde crosses his arms. I rolled my eyes, "Don't roll your eyes! You should be lucky to have a SM! You should at least talk back to them!"

"Nah, I don't care about these soulmates." I replied.

"I wish we could switch." Clyde sighed.

"Why would you want remember, take meds on your wrist?" I asked.

"I wouldn't mind." Clyde said, "I'd just live to know who's my other half!"

"I don't need another half." I said.

"Independent woman Craig! I love it!" Clyde laughed as I flipped him.

Before we could say anything else, two kids ran in, demanding matching butterfly faces. Here we go.

We started at 2 and it's now 4. I think I'm gonna die from heat stroke and from whiny kids.

"You forgot the indigo in the rainbow!" A little girl yelled at me.

"We don't have fu- I mean we don't have that colour in paint." I'm trying so hard to remain calm.

"This isn't a perfect rainbow!" She yelled.

"I don't have indigo." I said.
