"Oh my god I'm sorry," I said and pulled away from Dave.
"It's fine. I've been wanting to do that since before the show actually," Dave replied and I looked at him.
"We should go back out to the living room," I said as he started leaning in again.
"Oh ya I guess. Let's go," Dave said. He stood up and held the door open for me
"Did you get any?" Taylor asked and winked at me as Dave and I sat down on the couch together.
"I don't kiss and tell," I replied and gave him the finger.
Taylor got up and put on some music as we continued to drink. Dave kept his arm around me until I got up, grabbed Abby and Gisele and started dancing to Never Too Much by Luther Vandross. Taylor eventually started dancing with us and eventually worked his way so that he was in the middle of us. I couldn't help but laugh at him being a goofball. Nate and Pat joined in eventually too but I noticed Dave wasn't with us. I turned around and saw him sitting on the couch still. I danced my over to him, going around the back of the couch and stopped in front of him.
"Come dance with us," I said as Dancing With Tears In My Eyes by Ultravox started playing. I kept dancing as Dave looked up at me.
"I'd rather be dancing with just one person," Dave responded with.
"Well get off your ass and dance with me then," I said back and he smiled.
Dave put his drink down on the coffee table before getting up, walking over to me and started dancing. We were both dancing like idiots and it reminded me of when we use to do this when we were together. Gisele and Nate left, giving Pat a ride at the same time because Dave couldn't drive and was staying here. Pat told me to be gentle with him as he leaned against the door frame. I just rolled my eyes and pushed him gently and he headed to Gisele's car. I closed the door and went back to the couch where Dave was sitting waiting for me.
"Where'd T and A go?" I asked. Dave started laughing hysterically and then so did I when I realized what I asked.
"I think they went to his room. I told them to get a room and well now they're gone," Dave replied as I sat down on the coffee table in front of him.
"What have you guys got going on next?" I asked after we had been sitting there for awhile in silence.
"The album comes out and then we fly over to London and Paris for a few shows. What about you? You said you work in a clothing store right?" Dave asked and I nodded.
"Ya but I don't really need to. Stupidly rich family remember. I only go in when I'm bored. My aunt's friend runs the store and doesn't care if I'm there or not," I replied. We sat in silence again.
"Show me around. Give me the grand tour," Dave said as he stood up and held out his hand. I took it and he pulled me up. I lead him a bit down a hallway on one side of the living room.
"That's the room Abby usually stays in when she's here, bathroom, and Taylor's room," I said as I pointed at each of the doors. I then lead him to the other hallway across the living room.
"Bathroom again, my art studio and my room and the master bathroom," I said as I again pointed at each door before leading him into the kitchen.
"I think this is the kitchen," Dave said sarcastically before I could say anything. I giggled and just nodded.
"Dining room is through there which leads back to the living room," I said as I let go of Dave's hand and grabbed two beers from the fridge.
"What about this door?" Dave asked as he pointed at a door beside the pantry.
"Basement. Taylor keeps his drums down there. It's mainly storage," I replied as I handed him one of the beers. Dave then walked out of the kitchen and as I walked out I saw him walk into my art studio. When I got to the door of the room, Dave was looking at a painting I did after Kurt passed away.
"You've gotten better over the years. Looks like him," Dave said as he looked back at me.
"It's how I processed it. I wasn't going to keep it but I decided not to throw it out. Means too much to me. It's the first thing I painted just to paint after he passed away," I said back. Dave eventually moved on to a stack of canvas's leaning against the wall. He leaned one against his leg to look at the next one then leaned that one against the first one as I joined him. I saw his face as I came up beside him and then looked at the painting he was looking at. Dave pulled it out and walked over to the empty easel and put the painting on it.
"When did you do this?" he asked as he stared at himself.
"After I moved here. It was just after I met Taylor actually," I replied.
"Why did you paint it?"
"I don't know. I woke up crying one night after a bad dream and I just picked up a paint brush and that's what I had when the sun came up," I replied and looked down at my feet.
Dave moved over to me and lifted my face so we were looking at each other again. Dave leaned in and this time I didn't bother trying to stop him. When our lips touched, all the feelings came rushing back. I put my arms around his neck as he pulled me in closer. My lips parted and within seconds his tongue was in my mouth, dancing with mine. We started moving backwards and I almost fell over. We stopped making out and Dave picked me up and took me to my room. Once my door was closed, Dave and I were back at each other. Dave had moved to my neck when my level head surfaced.
"Wait," I said breathlessly.
"Right sorry. I forgot," Dave said back as he sat beside me.
"No not that. I want that even if it's just one night. You're married though. That's what's wrong," I responded with as I looked over at him.
"Britt I'm in the ends of a divorce. I'm not going to change my mind about that. Now what do you mean by you want it even if it's only one night? I can wait for you. I know what the reward is and it's worth it," Dave said with a smile. I kissed his cheek and smiled at him.
"I think you can be the one exception to the rule for one night. I mean you've already seen everything," I said as I stood up. I undid my jeans and slowly took them off
"Britt you don't need to do that," Dave said as he leaned back on his hands. I smirked at him as I walked past him and sat down by my pillows again.
"I know but I think that we both want it to happen and you're just trying to be a good guy and hold off as long as possible," I replied as he turned to face me.
"I want to at least say I put up a fighting chance. I also remember that waiting was half the fun," Dave said as I put my knees up and hugged them to my chest.
"You can tell everyone I seduced you if that's what you want," I said seductively as I let go of my legs.
I opened them slightly and moved my hands lightly down my thighs to my knees as Dave watched. I opened my legs a little more and moved one of my hands back up my thigh slowly. Dave moved up on the bed and opened my legs more. I looked up at him as he ran his own hands over my thighs. Dave grabbed just below my knee and pulled me so I was laying on my back. I laughed and screamed playfully before Dave leaned down and kissed me again.
"Just one night then we'll wait right?" Dave asked in between kisses as he moved down and across my neck.
"Just one night," I said back.
Dave got up on his knees and took off his shirt. He got back on top and started kissing my neck again. I moved a hand to the back of his head as he started sucking a spot on my neck. Once he was done, and had most likely given me a hickey, he got back up and took off my t shirt. Dave looked down at me and ran his hands all over my body. He ran his fingers over a scar I had on my side that I had gotten from a surfing accident when I was still learning. Dave bent down and kissed it softly. Dave then got off the bed and took his pants off before getting back on the bed and taking my panties off. He kissed just above my spot which caused me to squirm. When he flicked his tongue over my clit, I gasped in pleasure. There was one thing that no one could do as good as Dave and this was it. Dave slid a finger inside me as he went between sucking on my clit and flicking his tongue over it. He continued until I screamed out his name. He kissed his way back up to my lips and I gave him a deep passionate kiss. Dave took his boxers off, put on a condom and got back on top of me. He looked into my eyes and smiled sweetly before leaning down to kiss me. Dave slid into me as we kissed which caused me to moan into the kiss. We started off slow and gentle before going fast and hard. Dave slowed down as we both got close to finishing. When we were done, Dave got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. I sat up in bed, covered myself with a sheet and lit a smoke. When Dave came back, he got back into bed and lit a smoke as well.
"How did you get that scar?" he asked.
"I was learning to surf. I fell and one of the fins cut me. Nice tattoo by the way," I replied as I reached over for the ashtray and put it between us.
"Another stupid mistake. I'm going to get it covered soon. If I ask you something do you promise not to get mad?"
"Ask whatever you want. You can't get mad if you don't like the answers though," I replied. Dave looked nervous and I tried to rack my brain as to what he may possibly ask.
"How many others have uh you know, gone all the way with you?" Dave asked quickly.
"Two. Taylor and Wiley," I replied.
"Taylor?! As in your room mate and the drummer in my band Taylor?" Dave asked.
"Ya. I dated Wiley but Taylor was a drunken thing that just happened," I replied.
"When?"
"It was before finals. I was stressed and freaking out so Taylor took me out for drinks. One thing led to another and when we got home that night, I kissed him and we ended up doing it," I replied.
"That was it? A drunken one time thing?" Dave asked.
"Yes. He's like my best friend and I wouldn't have survived our break up if it wasn't for him. Please don't be mad. You're the one whose with me now. I don't want him or anyone else right now. Please smile damn it," I said. I was now straddling him and squishing his cheeks together to try and make him laugh.
"Nothing's going on between you two now right? I just want to make sure," Dave said as I dropped my hands from his face.
"He's in his room making my best friend scream her head off. There is nothing going on. He doesn't even have the right hair color," I replied which caused Dave to laugh. I missed that laugh. He put a hand on the back of my head and pulled me to him for a kiss.
"Good because I don't like sharing," Dave said in between kisses. We spent the rest of the night and most of the next day just talking, catching up and kissing which would always lead to another round.
