I guess there's truth in the saying 'hindi araw - araw pasko.'

The boys looked so down and depressed because they just suffered their first loss this season. Sobrang lungkot sa loob ng dug out. Seniors are trying to lighten up the mood pero kahit sila sobrang affected.

"It's okay to lose now kesa naman sa finals so wag niyong dibdibin ang pagkatalo. It's all part of the competition." says their head coach.

"Yes, isang opportunity to so we would do better sa next games." dagdag ng team captain.

Although I hate to take photos of their troubled faces I had to para cover photo ng article. After ng debriefing nila ay isa isa nang pumasok ang mga players sa shower rooms. Niligpit ko na ang camera sa loob ng bag, then I felt him moved beside me.

Pawisan pa siya, still on his jersey with towel over his shoulder. "Ligo ka na din." I told him and he nodded. Kinuha ko ang dulo ng towel niya para punasan ang pawis niya sa mukha.

"I'll wait for you." sabi ko, Andre replied with a weak smile. Hinawakan ko ang left cheek niya with my hand and gave him a reassuring smile.

Few minutes after lumabas na siya combing his wet hair using his fingers. He's wearing a familiar green shirt and basketball shorts.

"San mo gusto magdinner?" tanong ko sa kanya. Nilapag niya sa gilid ko ang malaking bag niya with the shoes he wore during the game.

"Kahit ano, ikaw?" He's still sad about what happened, I could tell.

"Pinapatanong ni Kib kung sasabay ba daw tayo? Do you want to go straight sa dorm?" tanong ko sa kanya, without answering his question.

"Ayaw ko pa, love. Kain muna tayo." sagot niya, tumango ako.

"Okay, sama ka muna sa kanila. I'll wait for you, magbook na lang ako ng grab." sabi ko, for sure may nag-aantay na fans sa kanila sa labas.

"Parang ayaw-" "Come on, your fans are outside worried about you. Show them what you are made of." I cut him off, kahit wala siya sa mood ngayon he needs to be a sport and accept defeat.

"I'll wait for you." I smiled at him, he forced a smile back.

"Thank you." he kissed my forehead and went off.

Few minutes after lumabas ni Andrei sumunod na din ako, I brought his gym bag with me it's not too heavy din naman. Sa kabilang exit ako lumabas.

"Ang cute ni Andrei no?"

"Oo nga pero mas pogi si Aljun!"

Napangiti ako when I heard 2 girls holding their phones. I assume their comparing selfies they took with the players. Palagpas na sila sakin when I noticed na napatingin sakin yung isang babae.

"Di ba si Tin yun? Yung girlfriend ni Drei." bulong nung isa, she tried to make it low as possible pero narinig ko pa din.

I get this a lot, people calling me Andrei's girlfriend. It's so weird, one time may nagpapicture pa sakin I didn't want to be rude kaya hinayaan ko sila pero sobrang nakakahiya.

"Papicture tayo!"

"Wag na nakakahiya." says the other girl.

Umupo ako gilid pagkalabas, nilapag ko ang gamit ni Andrei natigilan ako nung narinig na napansin nilang dala ko ang gamit ni Andrei. "Gamit ba ni Andrei yung dala niya?" Shit, nakakahiya.

"Ang sweet nila!"

"Tara na papicture tayo."

I felt uneasy, hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na may magpapapicture sa kanya because she's Andrei girlfriend pero hindi ata siya masasanay sa ganito. Naramdaman niyang nasa gilid na niya ang dalawang babae, mukhang nagtutulakan ito kung sinong magaapproach sa kanya.
