Chapter 20: Tuesday
Alex's POV:
"Game time" Justin said as we walked out onto the field to do the coin flip
"Tails" we said
The ref threw it up and it landed on tails.
"Receive" Justin said
We walked back over to the bench and Henry came over to me.
"You ok?" He asked
"Yea just a little queasy" I say
"You'll be ok" he smiled
We out our helmets on and went out onto the field. The other team kicked the ball off and went right into my hands. I ran as fast as I could slipping through people. Justin and Henry were next to me the whole time I ran. Suddenly someone tackled me from behind and I fell to the ground as the whistle blew. Henry and Justin came over.
"You ok?" They asked
"Yea" I smiled as they helped me up
We did another play. I ran down field as the quarter back threw the ball. We got a touchdown. One touchdown turned to two, three, four, five. The final score was 35-7. All the boys on the team didn't seem to mind a girl on the team. They all protected me.
