Alex's POV:
it was a saturday morning and i was watching tv, when henry came and sat with me.
then my mom walked through the living room "alex what r yall doin today?"
"i was gonna go to the boardwalk and walk around" i said
The boardwalk is really cool, with an arcade and a bunch of stores and every Saturday there's fireworks.
"ok tell me when u leave" my mom said
"k" i said turning on spongebob
I got up and went to get ready. I went back into the kitchen and Henry was ready.
"Jake is going with u" my mom said "he will probably be in the arcade the whole time"
"k" I said as she gave me some money
She dropped us off at the board walk entrance "I'll be back after fireworks" my mom said
Henry and I walked down the board walk joking around and laughing. Jake went to the arcade. Henry and I went to get some lunch, we ate cheeseburgers and fries. Then we went to the arcade and played a few games. It started to get dark and the board walk was all lit up and stuff. Music was playing and we were laughing. Henry kept looking at me.
"what?" I laughed
"nothin" he said also laughing
He held my hand as we walked down towards the concert that was going on.
A slow song was playing.
"may I have this dance?" Henry asked laughing
"yes u may" I laughed as we started dancing
we laughed and laughed, I would throw my head back and laugh. when the song ended he held my hand as we watched fire works.
