Henry's POV:
I put het head in my lap, she was so frail, like the crash at the track. Jake and Justin came running with the ambulance. they loaded her up and took her to the hospital. we met her there, it was about an hour before we heard anything.
"hello again Mr and Mrs Cortez, Alex is ok but she is in acoma. she hit her head pretty hard on the tree so she will be out for a while but we are not sure how long she will be out, days, weeks, months" the doctor said
"can we go see her?" Mrs. Cortez said
"yes" he said
We walked into her room, she still looked frail.
"are we gonna do the same shifts?" Jake asked
"yea, you boys can break first" Mr. Cortez said
We went and explored the hospital once again.
"you wouldn't be surprised of how often this happens" Jake said
"really" I asked
"yep" Justin said
"she's a dare devil, she will go to extremes" Jake said
"but she's amazing" I said
Hours and hours went by.
"mom you and dad go home and get some sleep, we got it here" Jake said
She hesitated a minute "r u sure"
"yes we got it" Justin said
"ok call us if you need us" she said as her and Mr. Cortez left
"I'm hungry" Jake said
"me to" Justin leaned against the wall
"Henry, Jake and I r gonna go see what they have to eat, u want anything?" Justin asked
"no I'm good" I said
"k be back soon" Justin said as they left
I went over to Alex she looks just like she did after the crash. The grabbed her hand. Then I heard something like running, then I saw Lucky slid into the room.
"I heard what happened" he said out of breath
He slowly came over to her and sat on the other side of her.
"what happened?" he asked
"I don't know we found her out in the woods" I said
"acoma?"
"yea"
Days went by. Soon it was a week, then two weeks, she was still in acoma. I was there every day after school. Then one day after school her dad was at work and her mom was waiting on me to get there so she could leave. Then Jake was at school still.
"ok I'll see you later Henry tell me if she wakes up" Mrs. Cortez said leaving
I went over to Alex she looked much better, the bruise on her head is gone. I held her hand like always, then I kissed her.
"u know I'm not sleeping beauty right?" she said
I just looked at her as she smiled and opened her eyes. I hugged her and kissed her again.
"how long have I been out?" she asked
"about 3 weeks" I said
I took out my phone and texted mr. and mrs. Cortez and Jake and Justin. Soon enough Justin was running into the door, he sighed with relief. Soon everyone was in the room. The doctors said she had to stay one more night for observation. It was Friday so Jake, Justin, and I stayed with her. The next morning we packed her up to go home. On the way to her house she put her head on my shoulder and put her hand in mine.
