physical hurt on our Creator is impossible. In attempts to get back

emotionally, some may choose to hurt themselves knowing that it would

hurt our Creator. Remember that our Creator would even give Himself to

pain and suffering for us as on the cross.

Establishing this fact, Satan knows that the best way to get back at

God was to hurt Him through His loved ones – His creations. We know that

Satan is not the sole rebellious ex-angel. With him came a horde of angels,

and he is still recruiting humans to his rebellion. Every disobedient being is

a strike at the Lord God. However, Satan does not attack humans directly

like a monster rampaging Earth. God did not permit him to do so, and it is

also an ineffective way to cause pain to God. In fact, the best way is to get

His creations to fight amongst themselves and also to turn them against God.

This was performed in Eden to make Adam and Eve disobey God, and

following that shortly, the murder of Abel by Cain. To put this in context,

what better way to get revenge against a man than to get his own children to

turn against him, and also get the children to kill each other to hurt the man?

And what better than to watch the Person punish and wipe out (sent from

His presence) the rebellious children knowing that it hurts the person deeply

to do so?

The first commandment is to love God our Creator with everything

we have. The second commandment is to love one another as deeply as we

humanly do ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40). On these two commandments we are told that all the laws and teachings of the prophets lie upon.

Therefore, it is on these two commandments that we should exercise our

choices. The Enemy's strategy is to go against these two commandments.

How can this be done? Anything that undermines these two commandments

would be one method; and the other would be to reverse the two

commandments where we love one other (2nd commandment) more than our

Creator (the greatest commandment). Very successful substitutions include

time, money, knowledge, and general materialism. Most of us have fallen to

these at when we place these loves above our love for one another and most

damningly, our love for God. What is worse for us, is that we are knowingly

being used as weapons against God, and really, that makes us accomplices

of the Devil. Somehow, our fallen nature makes us take advantage of the

grace and mercy bestowed upon us. And this fallen nature gives Satan his

much wanted strikes against our beloved Creator to Whom we should be

deeply sorry to. Nonetheless, it is clear Satan has most if not the whole

world in his grip as arsenal against the Lord God.
