-Your Pov-

I finish my part in the gallery, and by 8 I am ready to go home. I pull on my coat, and walk out of the gallery. I see a figure walking up the steps of the gallery as I step out, and then I recognised her. Dinah. I decide to completely ignore her. "Hey, hey, hey. Wait up." She calls, grabbing my wrist. I yank my arm out her grip, and walked a few steps before she jumps in front of me.

"Why won't you just let me explain?" She pleads. "Because you didn't show up!" I yell. Then I felt the tears start coming. "You didn't show up Dinah . I wanted you to come, and you didn't. Please just let me go." I say, softer this time. The tears start running down my face. "But I got held up at the studio. I came as soon as I could." She tries explaining.

"That's great Dinah . Please just let me go. I can't do this now." I whisper to her. She holds on to me a little tighter. "Please. I love you." She says, trying to get me to stay. I shake my head. " Dinah , if you really love me, you'd just let me go." I whisper, not looking her in the eye. "I can't. I can't let you go. I love you too much for that stupid saying to apply." I sigh.

"I can't do this right now Dinah . I just need to be alone." I say, looking down still. I look up again to find her nodding. "I understand that, but I don't want you to be mad at me." She says. I just explode. " Dinah ! I am mad! And I'm Hurt! You weren't there the one time I really wanted you to be there." I think for a second, and then I start to whisper again. "I think- I think we should take a break." I tell her. She opens her mouth to speak, but I cut her off.

"No Dinah . Just give me time to think before I do something we'll both regret." I say. Her grip finally loosens enough for me to get my arm free. I turn around and walk away. I decide to go to my friend's house again, and she comforts me, telling me everything will be okay. I have never cried this much in my entire life. When I wake up the next morning, I hear people talking downstairs. I get up, and stand at the top of the stairs trying to listen.

"Please let me see her, I can't handle this." I hear Dinah talking. "No. She needs time." I hear my friend say, and then her front door clicks shut. When I'm positive she's gone, walk down stairs to her, and she greets me. "What did she say?" I ask her. "She wants to talk, but I told her you need time." She explains.

"Yeah, I heard. Thanks." Then I walk back upstairs to shower. I am meeting my sister for lunch. When I get to the restaurant, she isn't there yet, so I wait for a while. After waiting for half an hour, I call her cell. No one answers, so I call my mom to see if she is still sleeping or something. "Hi, mum! Is she still there?" I asked her. I hear her take in a deep breath, and then a sob escapes her.

"Mum? What's wrong?" I ask her, quickly growing worried. "I-I tried calling your house, but Dinah said you weren't there. I was just about to call you." She stutters. "What? Mom? What happened?" I frantically ask her. "She-she was in a car accident. I am at the hospital. She asked for you, but she's in surgery now." I start sobbing.

"I'll be there in a few minutes, mom." I assure her, and drive to the hospital. I rushed in to the hospital and find my mom sitting in the waiting room. She explains to me what happened, and then we wait for her surgery to finish. I slowly start drifting off, but suddenly jerk awake when I recognise a voice asking the nurse where my sister is.

I'd recognise her voice anywhere...
