How to Date an Android Chapter 30

I find it astonishing in a way because I've not really experienced that before. Not even my family members did that much.

"Thank you for activating me master," she said. She gave me a slight bow.

"Please call me Jack," I said back.

"Wow, I'm so glad to meet you!" she said brightly with eyes that are sparkling. She laughed again. But then she's walking closer to me...very close.

What do I do? Um...I've never had a naked girl this close, or even fully clothed this close is rare, as she's now within two feet of me. Because I'm not sure how to act I'm sort of tripping over my own words. I've not been around girls much. I smile at her a lot but what do I say? My mind is like racing, trying to think of what I can talk about.

But I was surprised when she suddenly hugged me really fast. Her arms are around my neck as she is trying to pull me in tightly. Wow, so warm. And she smells good too. She doesn't smell like plastic or silicon or any machine oils. It smells just like a normal person.

"Wow, you feel so real!" I exclaimed.

She's also not disengaging from the hug, but is gently holding me. Then I felt like a hum and something like a gentle slight movement side to side like rocking or a very subtle and slow dance step.

"Of course! I am real silly," she chirped happily back to me. She is still hugging me.

"Um, we have to get inside fast. It's not safe out here after dark!" I hissed.

While she's laughing happy I pull her in the door and shut it behind us. I take her over to the couch, and we're sitting next to each other after I limp over there.

Wow, she's so fascinating. There's like tons of stuff to talk about too. I can't believe this day has finally arrived!

The black box has already shut down, so I'm not worried about it attracting any more attention or noise and things are secure for now. I had hurriedly wrapped it in a tarp as well.

But I did have to intercept her from turning on the lights in the house and it's getting late. She isn't aware of the zombie problem it seems. She doesn't know anything.

That...wait a minute. Why is that?

I also have to explain the situation to her.

Gently I take her by the hand, and we slowly walk towards to the living room area, which looks more like a waiting room for a business, since that's what I was doing with it. But I do have some nice leather couches there.

Slowly I walk her over to one and we sit down.

I was surprised that she sat so close to me. Like almost touching me, so it made me blush.

"Oh is sitting this close OK Jack?" she asked.

"Um, yes, yes, it's fine," I stammered.

"Really? You seem surprised. Did I do something wrong?" she asked.

"No, no I'm glad you sat close to me. I just got a bit surprised by it. But it's good. You should always sit as close to me as possible," I said.

"Oh nice! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! I'm glad you wanted me to sit next to you! That's so cool! I was wondering if you were going to be like wanting me next to you, or like on the floor, or just stay in the kitchen or shop! But this is wonderful!" she clapped her hands together lightly and seems super happy.

"Oh wow, you sure are excited," I said.

"Of course Jack! I have a purpose and now I'm not wondering if my AI will ever be used anymore. You see they have our AIs growing in tanks all together before we get our bodies. So in a way it's like an orphanage of kids growing up together hoping we'll get adopted!" she squealed in delight.
