"I won't let you down!" She cooed

"Thank you." I smiled giving the girl another hug. Eh Why not?

She embraced me tightly with her hand on the small of my back. Feeling slightly uncomfortable I eased out the hug.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked

"Bright and early." She smiled again

"Alright darling, have a safe night." I bit my lip...did she? Nah London you thinking wrong.

Brushing it off I finally made it outside to my car. Before starting the car I called Chris.

"Yeeeerp!" He answered

Basic. I swear.

"What do the kids want to eat?" I asked

"They not here." He mumbled

"Where are they?" I asked

I know I told him to pick them up from school.

"I dropped them off at Leah's...Drew son was spending the night and begged for them to come over." He explained

"Oh alright. What do you want to eat then?" I asked

"I don't really care. What ever you decide to get, I'm cool with it." He replied

He sounded like he was chilling and I rather him do that than smoking and blowing up my spot.

"Alright then, I'll see you in a few." I replied before saying good-bye and starting the car heading to a good food spot.

*Chris

Flipping through the channels that displayed on our 50 inch t.v set, I settled on high lights of the game.

Closing my eyes for a split second I heard a car door.

Getting up I opened the door for London as she juggled a couple bags, her camera bag, and purse.

Taking everything from her I kicked the door closed once she was in.

"How was your day?" She asked

"Cool." I replied placing the bags on the counter looking through the food.

Chinese food. Typical her.

"What did you do?" She asked taking her coat off revealing her half shirt she wore today. Shaking my head I thought about the question. "Just a few tatts then picked up the kids, took em to the park then bathe them, then dropped them off at Leah's" I replied

This morning when she said that I didn't help her...that hurt, I ain't gone lie. I'm a damn good father and I try my best Between her, the kids, work and other shit. I'm hustling enough where neither one of us ain't got to work and job. That's one thing I always did was hustle enough so none of my girls had to work.

I keep my complains at bay, cause mostly I don't have any. I buy shit for London like million dollar homes, and cars and trip because that's my wife...that's what I'm suppose to do. I buy stuff for the kids cause they my kids, and I enjoy the huge smiles on their faces...but I ain't sign up for saying I don't help out. I do more than any other man would do for their kids and then some. I wasn't feeling that. Truth be told that's what got me acting the way I was acting. On top of this being in the game shit.

"Wow you did it all huh babe?!" She smiled

"Yeah for someone who don't help out." I muttered. She must have thought I forgot that's why she trying to be all smiles and giggles.

The smile on her face quickly faded in seconds.

"Come on Chris don't start." She shook her head

"I ain't starting. You asked me a question and I answered." I replied taking out my food

"Yeah, but you're being a smart ass!" She put her hands on her hips.

"Word?" I laughed

Whenever I do shit she do I'm being a 'smart ass' but when she do it, she's the most cleaver woman in the world? Nah yo.

"Then you think it's funny." She rolled her eyes

"Just like this morning you thought it was funny." I hopped on the counter

"Just like you thought showing yo ass at my job was funny." She shot

She had that one. London 1, Chris 0

"You got it." I muttered

"Nah Chris, you started it up so let's keep it going." She yelled

See that's the thing she don't know when to chill and let be what needs to let be.

"Chill." I chuckled

It's the same thing I tell you.

"Nah cause when I was trying to 'chill' you ruined it with talk about this morning." She stood on front of me

She could NEVER admit when she was wrong.

"Iight ma." I replied smothering my laughter.

"Stop damn laughing Chris." She snatched the food out my hand

"YO!" I looked at her

"YO nothing. You need to listen to me." She demanded

"Please. Enlighten me. What's on your mind baby." I sat back

"Stop mocking me." She pointed

"I'm not!" I laughed

"For real yo. The disrespect leave is too high." She mumbled walking away

"Word?" I raised an eye brow

"Shut up!" She yelled slamming the bed room door

She could disrespect me it's cool, but if I laugh I'm disrespectful? Word? Oh.

Everyone quick to jump on me like I'm the bad guy, but yet know how much shit I put up with. Real talk it's enough to make a sane person no longer claim that title. But I'm sleep though.

*London

I couldn't with Chris any more. Pulling out my phone I dialed Seiko number.

"Hello?" She answered on the second ring.

"Hey girly." Laughed at how low I must look.

"What's wrong?" She asked

"Nothing. Wassup?" I asked sitting on my bed

"Getting dressed. You know the offer still stands." She said in a mocking tone

The bedroom door opened and in waltz Chris grabbing his lighter and blunt.

"I'll be out in the front." He mumbled laving. Pretty soon I heard the front door close.

Rolling my eyes I returned to my phone call. "Give me a few minutes. I'll be there" I smirked. I was gonna have fun tonight.
