But why does it even work on androids? Or is it some other chemical? That's so weird...But did that even work with androids since they don't use the same energy as we do?
She kicked him in the nuts and threw him back before the other three guys from the vehicle could grab her. Then she kicked one in the knee sending him to the ground bawling with his leg bent at a funny angle. He doesn't get up.
She's trying desperately to fight them off.
Jeez those guys were noisy. They were shouting and crying out and one of them is swinging a two by four piece of wood at her that hits her in the back.
Then one of them screams, "Android!" as they realize she's not human.
They are going for their guns as she tries to get away. One of them is trying to grab her legs and anchor her down and another goes for the arms.
She twisted really fast and jerked him off his feet. Then she kicks him so hard his spine breaks as he falls to the ground. Another one goes down but she still has the others to worry about. I had also missed not seeing two of them that came out of nowhere.
But that just opened up more opening for the others to try to get a hold of her. One of them tossed a fishing net of some kind over her, designed for heavy big game and she's now fighting to get loose while the other two are hitting her with boards. The net's enough to throw her off despite her better strength. She keeps getting hit by the boards too.
Wow, it's like them trying to cage a bear. A really cute small bear, that I'm regretful for not being able to help.
She tried to rip the throat out of one guy's neck, but then another guy started shooting a gun.
His first shots are wild.
Then one of them connected to her mid section and she's knocked to the ground.
I'm not sure if she's even still alive.
But they've dragged her into the SUV.
The doors shut and the driver guy, who seems to be the one in charge then executes the fourth guy with the broken back with three bullets to the head. There's still more tumultuous fighting going on in the SUV.
Even after they tried to drive away they ended up crashing into several other vehicles. There's a shower of glass breaking and car alarms going off.
Some guy ran out into the street to scream at them. It's some suburban white shirt and necktie guy that probably works in an office. His face and neck are bulging out while he screams at them.
I'm surprised he didn't realize they were gangsters. He was just concerned about his sports car that they'd backed into and totally not getting it. After yelling for a good five seconds he suddenly understands they are holding guns.
Then he hears Val screaming for help.
"Oh Fuck!" he screamed back, realizing what was going on.
The driver of the SUV empties the semi-automatic handgun into the suburban-ville office guy.
I feel really bad. I can't even get out of my yard and I'm so badly injured still...nor do I have a gun.
And those guys have Val...
But she's still putting up a fight right?
The SUV crashed maybe from her thrashing around.
I also saw a huge puddle of blood cover the windshield of the vehicle from the inside. But I don't know if that's Val's blood or the henchmens' blood.
This is so scary...
If I call 911 how long will it take them to even respond?
Wait...I don't even want to call them from my own phone actually.
And I can't risk saying that I know her...but the deep fear is if I call will I give away or compromise any chance of saving Barbara?
It's a bad call to make with trouble either way.
If there's a report then those guys can figure out who called from where. That means they'll come back. And I haven't seen a single cop car in this whole section of town since long before their first visit. Still, there should be some visual signs of where the illusion starts and ends. I should see something out of place, even if it looks out of place in a good way.
Has the chaos hit my town yet or not? These gang members might not have realized what's going on or they might have but I'm not sure yet. I checked the news feeds while I'm debating whether or not to call. You would be surprised how every second feels like a minute when you are under fire.
Everything looks normal...except for the fact of that someone was abducted just...less than two minutes ago.
Those are the longest two minutes of my life. Moral questions can be more...suspenseful than you think. I just hoped this wouldn't screw up my shot with Barbara since it may put me on the radar.
