Jane and Maura had been hanging out as days turned into weeks and weeks to months.

Jane had gotten off her crutches and walked with a limp. Maura helped her recovery go easier.

Jane was grateful for Maura. She loved her with no doubts. She wanted to be with Maura...but she didn't quite know how to say how she felt.

"Jane, what's this?" Maura asked showing Jane an envelope.

"It's nothing." "Prove it."

Jane took the letter and opened it up. She began to read it.

"Dear Maura, I have met the coolest woman. Her name is Jane Rizzoli. I want you meet her so bad.

She has taken care of me here in Afghanistan. She's all the woman you could ask for Maur.

I remember when I met Karen. I had just hauled in an interception my junior year of high school and in celebration, I kissed the head cheerleader.

Except Karen cheated on me and Maura, Jane is not going to leave you. Please, love her as I have done.

To Maura with love,

Brady.

Jane looked up at Maura, who had tears in her eyes.

Maura took a step towards Jane.

"Maura, I-" "Don't." Maura said before kissing Jane. They kissed with passion
