Author's POV

V seems to notice that his classmate in chemistry class was always spacing out or more like she was always daydreaming. At first, V wasn't bothered by it because he will also day dream when he's tired or bored but this has been going on for almost everyday, every single day she will daydream because she daydream too much the teachers grew tired of scolding her to stop daydreaming since the next day she will do it again. It bothered V why she daydream too much for an average person maybe she's not the average person you think she is and V decided to befriended with the day dreamer.

The bell rung and it was time for chemistry and V was pretty much excited since he's going to talk to her, wait what was her name? uuhh....Y-Y/N? Yeah! Y/N L/N! V mentally slapped himself for forgetting his classmate's name. He walked in and to his surprise he was early! So early that only him and Y/N was the only one in the room but somehow the girl didn't notice his presence since she's too busy daydreaming, her face facing the window watching the birds in the trees chirping. V tiptoed not making a single sound as he carefully sat down beside her, V glanced at her and decided to break her daydream, he cleared his throat and Y/N jumped at her seat she look beside her and saw a smiling sunshine that made her eyes squint for too much brightness.

"Sorry, I didn't know that someone was already here" she bowed her head but V only shook his head and thumbs up.

"No it's okay" he said. The silence came and somehow V was wondering why no one's coming, he wanted answers so he ask the day dreamer

"Heeey~ how come no one coming?" He asks as Y/N smiled and answered the confuse alien his question.

"We have no chemistry today and it's our lunch break" she replied, the boy slapped his forehead and chuckled.

"Oohh yeah! Aaiigooo! how come I forgot that? I'm such an idiot" the girl giggled and said it's okay

"But since you know there's no chemistry today then why are you here?" He asks the day dreamer.

"I like it here and I really don't have friends, so yeah that's a sad life and besides what's the point going to the cafeteria if you don't have someone to accompany you? People today are so judgmental and bunch of bullies, seeing you alone by yourself will think that you're some kind of a loser and will take advantage of you" she said as V nodded in agreement.

"What about you? why are you still here?" she asks since he really has no other reason why he will be here.

"Well, I wanted to be friends with you Y/N!!" He answered back happily.

"Y–Yo...you know my name?" she stuttered and slightly blushed.

"Of course! you're Y/N the one and only day dreamer!" he said as she only chuckled.

"Do they really call me 'day dreamer'?" she asks but the boy shook his head.

"Nope, just me" he grinned widely as the girl laugh and somehow V's heart thump so loud just by hearing her soothing laugh.

"How about me? Do you know who I am?" V asks and Y/N giggled and nodded.

"Yes, Kim Taehyung a.k.a V, the weird but very very handsome alien" she said and V grinned

"Yup that's me" He chuckled and made a pose at Y/N making her laugh.

They talked for a while and got to know each other, they laugh, joked and teased each other like close friends but V suddenly got serious and asked something at Y/N.

"Can I ask you a question?" He asks

"You're already asking but okay." she answered.

"Why do you always daydream all the time like EVERY SINGLE TIME?" he asks and Y/N got nervous, she fiddled with her thumbs and bit her lip as her eyes wander everywhere until she met V's eye.
