Niall’s POV

How was I meant to tell her it was all a mistake?

How was I meant to get her to trust me again?

I was sitting in the kitchen with a cup of tea when Sarah walked in. It’s now or never.

“Sarah, can I please explain?” I asked, I really wanted to make this right.

“Go on then” she said icily.

“I swear, I turned around and this girl threw herself on me. I don’t even know her name, I, I had too much to drink and-“ the explanation did sound pretty feeble, even to me. “Remember the other night, when I said how much I loved you, and that I always would? Well that still stands now. I love you, and I’m so sorry. I swear as soon as she tried to kiss me I pushed her off, Liam was behind me, you can ask him-“

“Whatever. ‘I had too much to drink’ so will you be like that every time you go to a party? Have too much to drink and kiss some random girl?” she said. She was right. It was a stupid excuse, but it was the truth.

 “Can you please forgive me?”

“You kissed some slut at a party. You cheated on me. And you expect me to just forgive you?  I’m a mess, you’re a mess. You have totally screwed up, and right now I can’t forgive you. I want to, I really do, but I just can’t.” she said, as she walked out the door.

A few weeks past, doing a concert almost every night. Sarah and I did our few songs, but that was the only time we spent in each other’s company.  We had just arrived in Doncaster, where Sarah and Louis lived, and we were making the concert extra special. After Sarah and I finished our three songs, she walked off stage and took her spot behind the curtain. I took the microphone and spoke into it; “Tonight we were told that this concert has to be extra special, because we are in Doncaster and that’s where Louis and Sarah are from. This next song is called ‘Gotta Be You’ I’m sure you have all heard it before” I looked over at Sarah, who was unseen behind the curtain and said “Sarah, I am so sorry. This one is for you.”
