Hello everyone,

I'd like to thank all of you who have waited patently for me to update this. These past few months have been hectic for me and it's been difficult to find time to stop and write so I'd like to just stop the wait as I don't think I'd be able to continue with this book.

I'm so sorry.

This is as far as I was able to get these past few months:

Vilayna's POV,

"WOO, Zander, GO ZANDER WOOO!" I screamed as everyone else cheered for their favourite.

Zander and Sebastian sped past the crowd on their horses with Raheem trailing slightly behind.

The glint of determination in Zander's eyes as he willed his horse to move faster using his body like it was a powerful deadly instrument at his disposal.

A shiver ran through my body when I recalled the events from our wedding night and how I had experienced just how "powerful" and "deadly" his body could be.

I shook my head trying to focus on the race and pressed my legs closer together for extra measure; saving myself from embarrassment.

My heart swelled with love for him once again as I watched Zander and Sebastian exchange confident and competitive grins before charging towards the finish line. Raheem still doing his best to overtake.

"COME ON RAHEEM! USE THOSE OVERLY LONG LEGS OF YOURS!" Was a scream that came from Taminah.

The race was close but to my delight Zander won with Sebastian just a fraction of a second behind him. I squealed in delight as Zander rounded back heading towards the stalls, his eyes searching the crowd.

My legs moved on their own accord, drawn to him, soon I found myself at the edge of the stalls leaning into his fresh masculine scent.

My movement was reciprocated as Zander leaned in towards me placing a firm kiss on my lips.

I eyes flashed open immediately, a wide grin on my face,"You won! Congratulations!"

Zander smirked,"Of course I won" his voice dripping with arrogance,"Do you think I spent all those years in the countryside cooped up in my house painting?"

Fair point; he did have a close bond with calcifer after all. My grin widened in response.

"I had to keep fit somehow," he winked.

"Raheem!"

Taminahs voice interrupted us, both our heads turning in the direction that the two had met. Taminah shook her head at her fiancé disapprovingly whilst Raheem bowed his head sheepishly,"What was that?" She laughed teasingly.

"Perhaps a flamboyant display of failure?" Raheem smiled at her sheepishly.

Taminah cocked her head back as if considering whether his answer was acceptable or not,"Hmmm..." She concluded,"I liked it."

"But, next time, if you would be so kind, do show us a 'flamboyant display' of success,"she replied with sarcasm frosting her voice,"It would do all of us the world of good."
