"So let's just go with something like 5' 8"? Nothing taller than 5'8" actually but you could go really short if you wanted too. No studies showed being short as getting an android noticed more," she suggested.

"Good. 5'8" is fine. I don't need anything really short."

As she said that the video image adjusted a small amount to that height.

"You know Jack, being short won't affect her ability to have sex," Barbara said rattling me.

"Uh, I didn't ask that!" I accidentally got defensive from being a bit skittish about certain topics.

"Oh sorry, I did think it's necessary to say though. Please forgive me if it was rude," she said sympathetically.

"You weren't rude. It just caught me off guard. I felt embarrassed," I said.

"Got it." She coughed.

"Do you put in a weight or how does that work?" I asked.

"Weight isn't necessary. It just turns out to be whatever it is. We put in height and dimensions but because the structure for androids is similar and of the same material that isn't a real concern," she said stiffly.

Was she stiff because the fear of being a fat human was something androids worried about. I'd have to ask her later.

"OK, so blending in...Jack if I may let's come back to that after you pick an appearance first. The appearance you pick could change that a lot," Barbara said.

"Sure. The mods will probably take the most time anyway right?" I asked.

She agreed. "OK, this is just a base to start changing things from Jack, you don't have to go with this but just use it to get an idea what to start with. Customers find the bald girl in 3D to be a bit creepy."

I laughed, "Yeah that had been my thought but I didn't want to say it. What if she was like your sister then you'd be mad at me."

She laughed back. I wasn't really that funny, but she seemed to want to be playful with me. "We often have to explain she's only bald to initially show you are supposed to paint her. And paint what kind of partner you would like. See. Its like giving someone a puzzle to solve. Seeing her incomplete often suggests to potential partners to finish her. See?"

"OH! That's brilliant."

"OK. Can you see the 3D image? I'm uploading a suggested baseline for you to work with," she sent.
