"Marinette, what are you gonna do now?" Tikki asked.

"What do you mean, Tikki?" Marinette responded with a question.

Tikki flew from Marinette's shoulder to a couple of inches in front of her face. "I mean what are you gonna do now that you know that Chat likes you?"

"Tikki, do you really think Chat likes me. Like the me-me?"

"Of course he does."

"No, Tikki," She sighed. "He likes ladybug. He sat there and said he was in love with Ladybug."

"Marinette, we talked about this. You are Ladybug. I don't understand why you would say otherwise."

'AGH! TIKKI YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND, DO YOU!? I'm not Ladybug as Marinette! They aren't the same person! They never will be! Can you not see the difference between the two! UGH!' Marinette, mentally yelling at Tikki, knew that they wouldn't agree so she just gave up trying to get Tikki to understand. She never will. She gritted her teeth, took in a deep breath and breathed out quickly. Marinette was stressed enough as it is. "You know what, Tikki, it's whatever." She said. "Chat didn't tell Ladybug he loved her, so Ladybug doesn't know. I'm just gonna forget about it for now."

"O-okay." Tikki said.

"I'll be drawing I guess. If you want cookies or something then there's some over there." Marinette said with almost no emotion. 'If Tikki is going to keep saying the same crap every time something like this comes up, I sure don't want to hear it.'

Tikki opened her mouth to say something, but closed it almost just as fast. Marinette doesn't seem to be in that good mood she was in earlier and talking to her would probably just make it worse. Tikki glumly floats over to the plate of cookies that Marinette mentioned before.

It's the day of the party and Marinette is mentally freaking out. She doesn't want to late, but knowing herself she probably will be. She had her dress on already, she was currently in the bathroom with a hair straightener she only knew how to use partly. And by that she knew how to plug it up, turn it on, and let it heat up. Everything after that was pretty much a complete mystery that she didn't have the time to solve. She groaned and unplugged the hair straightener and decided to just wear her natural curls down. Earlier on in life she noticed how when if she doesn't brush her hair for a while that they form curls. But she'd have to do a little work on them to make it look like she didn't just hopped out of bed and went out.

Tikki hesitantly flew into the bathroom with Marinette. She had been working on giving Marinette some space, since she was clearly upset about something. Tikki knew it was bad to hold in hold in anger and feelings alike, but if talking to Marinette was to make her more angry, she might not have been able to calm her down. And she knew what to expect that might've happened next with Hawkmoth somewhere out there. "Hey, Mari." Tikki said.

"Oh. Hey, Tikki."

"Need any help?" Tikki asked.

"Not right now."

"Okay." Tikki didn't know if Marinette was still upset or if she was actually very concentrated. She hoped it was the latter.

"I'm done. I'm finally done. Thank goodness." Marinette let out an exasperated sigh. She walked out of her bathroom and grabbed the purse she had made to match the dress. She opened it up for Tikki, who flew in immediately. Marinette couldn't help but feel bad for Tikki. All she wanted to do was help. But right now she was feeling pretty salty and she couldn't help but also be mad at her. Tikki was wrong after all. At least to Marinette she was.
