Izuru Kamukura x Reader- Friend Lost and Found

It was a normal day at Hope's Peak Academy and I heard a rumor that they are using the money that they get from the Reserve Course for a project. My best friend, Hajime Hinata, and I were going to hang out at the park near our houses.I was waiting at the park for 20 minutes before Hajime finally arrived.

"Hey (y/n)," said Hajime as he waved to me, "sorry I'm late, the headmaster had to ask me question."

"It's okay," I replied.

We talked for awhile. It was sunset when we started heading home.

"See you tomorrow morning (y/n)," called Hajime.

"See you tomorrow Hajime," I said. As I was walking to my house I saw teachers from my school,

"Did you hear about the Izuru project, they say there using the funds form the Reserve Course," said Mrs. Chisa.

"I heard they are going to chose one of the Reserve Course students. They are going to mess with the brains of one of them, making them a completely different person," said Mrs. Saiko.

I ran home to text my friend, Yun, Ultimate Sniper, that the rumors were true. I began to worry about Hajime. What if the headmaster was talking him about being a test subject? What will happen to him? I have had a small (Huge) crush on him every since we met in fourth grade, the year I moved from America to Japan. He was my first friend when I got here. I hope (get it? No, oh. I'll be crying in the corner now.) he will be okay.

Weeks have got by since I saw Hajime. I'm getting really worried. He hasn't answered my calls or responded to my text. Yun says I'm over reacting and he is just very busy.

A few months later Mrs. Chisa introduced a new student to the class.

"Everyone, this is Izuru Kamukura. He will be joining our class," announced Mrs. Chisa, "you may sit next to Ms. Mioda. Please raise your hand Ms. Mioda."

He sat in the seat next to Ibuki, the seat right in front of me.

"Now, let us start on today's lesson," Mrs. Chisa said.

I tuned her out and looked at the new kid. I had a weird feeling that we knew each other. The lunch bell rang and everyone hurried to pack there stuff to get lunch. I was the last one out of the classroom. When I reached my locker I grabbed my lunch and (f/s) books and headed to the courtyard. The courtyard was normally empty because, unlike me, I didn't have many friends. My only friends were Yun, Hajime, Ibuki, Nagito, and Ayaka, Ultimate Artist. As I unpacked my (f/c) lunchbox (aka food sack) someone sat next to me.

"Hi, " I said trying to make a new friend. When I turned to the person, I realized it was Izuru.

"Hello. I'm Izuru Kamukura. What is your name miss?" He asked in a bored voice.

"My name is (y/n). It is nice to meet you Izuru, " I replied, eating my (ham, turkey, or chicken) sandwich.

"Why do you sit here all alone Ms. (y/n)? You seem like you would be have many friends," Izuru asked.

I giggled, "No one likes me. I have 5 friends at the most. But, they are hanging out with other people or reading or studying. Besides, I like the peace and quiet out here. Everyone else is annoying," I replied.

Izuru thought for a moment, "With your personality, I thought you must have lots of friends or at least been I a relationship."

"I've never dated anyone in my life. I have a huge crush on someone, but I haven't seen him for months. I'm really worried about him. He was my first and best friend," I said, tearing up a little bit. Why am I telling him this? I just met him and I felt like I've known him for a long time.

After a minute, Izuru asked what the boy's name was. "His name is Hajime Hinata. I really like him but I don't know if he feels the same way. I'm afraid to tell him," I replied.

Izuru asked me what my last name was, saying he was just curious. I replied (y/l/n).

Just then the bell rang. "Hopefully I will see you tomorrow Ms. (y/n), "Izuru said, heading inside, "I'll be here tomorrow if you want to talk some more."

"Okay. Goodbye Izuru. Also just call me (y/n)," I called as he disappeared inside. I picked up my trash and went to (f/s), hoping to see Izuru again.
